We really enjoyed our weekend away. The sea view, walks along the sea and relaxing on the veranda was exactly what we needed.

Great relax. The sea view and walking distance to the sea was perfect for a lovely weekend getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage offers everything you need in terms of dining and eating utensils. The dishwasher was a nice bonus that added to everyone's enjoyment during the weekend. The instructions for accessing the cottage and the alarm were thorough and easy to understand. We will definitely go back again!
Everything one needs.
The house is well equipped with comfortable living areas and veranda with views. The location is excellent; in a very quiet residential area. There is a lovely place to walk. We grilled more outside because the indoor grill tends to smoke. Certain aspects need a bit of an upgrade, e.g. the bed's mattress in the upstairs bedroom, but it didn't spoil the visit at all. Anine was friendly with advance inquiries and she was quick and complete with information. The home's security and access is safe and easy.

Lovely place, but it would have been nice if there were candles or lamps during load shedding. The house needs a bit of TLC: torn lounger cushions, blankets with stains, old towels, etc. Would still highly recommend it.
We loved the openness and location of the home.
More positive than negative. However, there were a few bugs and we are passing them on to help the owners. 1. DSTV does not work as advertised. 2. Upper shower is leaking water, the wooden floors are already showing water damage. 3. Upper toilet is leaking water. 4. Mold on wall tiles next to upper toilet. 5. A folding clothes drying rack inside the house will be beneficial for vacationers who want to explore the area during the day and not leave the laundry in the wind and weather. Minimum clothespins available. Hangers not sufficient for a place that can accommodate 8 people. 6. One of the kitchen's dim lights flickers, there might be a fault. 7. Only got one set of clean towels for 12 days stay.
House is so comfortable and everything you need is there. See the most beautiful sunsets over the sea from the balcony. We will book again soon.

My husband and I have stayed at Beach Cottage 2 twice now, as it's only an hour from where we live. But it feels like we are totally escaping life and spend much of our time chatting on the lovely balcony looking at the sea or sitting on the rocks watching the crashing waves. Close to all conveniences but far enough and quiet enough to feel like we're on holiday. We can't wait to go back again and again.

My husband and I loved our stay at Cottage 2. We wanted a place to just be peaceful and enjoy good views, and that's exactly what we got. The road in front isn't too busy and it's nice to watch all the dogwalkers, runners, and cyclists doing their thing. The house has everything you need, except for Wi-Fi, but we were grateful not to have it. Look forward to going back regularly.

Beach Cottage is absolutely the best value for money. Everything was beautifully clean and tidy, rooms nice and big and bathrooms very comfortable. The indoor braai works wonderfully, especially in the evenings when it is too cool for outdoor braai. We as a family had a great time and walked around Hermanus. The house is very close to the sea and we could walk down and enjoyed sitting on the chairs. Thank you very much for the bottle of wine and chocolates, what a great touch. Will definitely stay there again.
Was an absolutely wonderful stay. Indoor braai/fireplace kept us warm and cosy. You have to visit this beautiful accommodation. The view is fantastic, close to the beach too. The pictures on the website does no justice. The place is stunning with a kitchen filled with everything you need. An ideal place to entertain.
Purely for improvement perhaps a wet bar upstairs by entertainment area and bar fridge will make it easier instead to walk up and down stairs. Other than that the place is amazing with spectacular views and so peaceful.

Beach Cottage 2 is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations I have been to, I would definitely recommend to other people, the manager and owner was quite very efficient with the process during our stay, my family and I had an awesome time at the Beach Cottage 2, the beach was quite awesome and the view from the Balcony seeing the beautiful beach was one of the highlights of our stay Thank you soooo much, the time was worth every penny.
We enjoyed our stay in Vermont. Anine supported us and informed us thoroughly during our stay - she was always available for questions und support. The house is equipped with an alarm system, so safety is guaranteed! We enjoyed the upper level of the house: it is beautifully spacious - the indoor BBQ comfortable and easy to use. The view from the upper terrace is amazing.

The house is fully furnished with all the necessary amenities. Very neat and clean. The house is a stone's throw from the beach. The walking route up the srtand is breathtaking and very safe. The veranda on the upper floor offers sea views and is great for a late afternoon "cocktail". The lounge area on the top floor is great for relaxing and there is also an indoor braai. We had a great time!
We had a great time relaxing and living in the spacious upper floor. The sheltered porch with its beautiful view and comfortable furniture was for us the highlight of our visit.
It is a beautiful place. Well located not too far from Hermanus and attractions. Quiet environment. Clean and tidy. Was very surprised to have all the amenities there such as a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and an ironing board and iron. A little too big for just 2 people. Would recommend the place to anyone. The owners welcomed us with a bottle of wine and chocolate.

Beach Cottage surpassed all my expectations. It is spacious, well positioned with a gorgeous view and very well provisioned. There are two braai's, 4 bedrooms, a downstairs and upstairs sitting area and a lovely outdoor balcony. Highly recommended.
