The outside stoep also offers outside braai facilities for guests.
Just a small sand dune separates you from the beach, which grants easy access to the waves ahead. The flat is also located a few minutes drive from a few shops and restaurants in the seaside town.

Apartment is very large and tidy and a few steps from the beach. Everything we needed was there, except bath and swimming towels. It was peaceful, quiet and safe. We really enjoyed it and will visit again. Previous guests had used the outside shower to clean fish and we had to unblock it ourselves. Inconsiderate.
Its proximity to the beach and the restaurant made for a very relaxing holiday. We hardly had to use the car, as everything (well, most) was within walking distance. Early morning coffee and late afternoon "sundowners" were spent on the little sand dune a few meters away from the house, overlooking the sea.
Will definitely book again.
We booked the Beach Flat again and although this time we were in Witsand for business, we slept and relaxed with the sea just beyond the dune.
I cannot stress enough how neat and clean everything is. Literally a few steps from the beach. Definitely go again!
We spent a lovely few days in the Beach Flat. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival and we were kindly received. We could rest well, the beach is literally just over the dune. We definitely recommend this apartment.
Accommodation had more than enough space for a family of 4 and the indoor braai worked overtime during the windy days. Will definitely be back.
We were a little surprised at the lack of micro-wave, would have been good to know beforehand. Definitely only sleeps 4, advertised as sleeps 6. 2 would have to sleep on couch and settee in the open braai-area meaning clearing and putting away bedding during the day. One of the plastic loungers on the stoep was obviously broken. We didn't need to use it as the weather was windy and rainy a lot of the time. The glass sliding door to the stoep was very difficult to slide! Still, direct access to a beach dune more or less makes up for everything!
It was relaxing, tidy and located close to the sea. Close enough to just walk over the dune for a walk by the sea or go fishing. Dstv full package was put on for us so we could watch rugby. We will go again and simply recommend it to others who will also want to visit the place.

This is a lovely apartment that I would highly recommend. It is wonderfully close to the sea and ideal for families with teenagers. The apartment is extremely well equipped with even a dishwasher and washing machine. There is an indoor and outdoor braai for all weather conditions.
The Beach Flat has absolutely everything we needed. The location is perfect. We were really pleasantly surprised and would love to go again. The only item that wasn't there were towels. Anthea was very helpful and accommodating.
The apartment's location is great for a family with young children, children can play in the dunes right in front of the house in a safe environment. Apartment is very well equipped with everything you will have in your own home and kitchen. Indoor and outdoor barbecue places is just another treat for Dad and Mom can imagine she is in her own kitchen. Friendly and helpful service.
Convenient and comfortable place to stay with everything you need whether for a weekend or longer holidays. Have a good time at the braai place on the stoep with the calming effect of the sea's waves in the background. You just walk down the stairs and over the shot up sand dune and you are on the beach!
The Beach Flat, is a very nice house to rent. Much bigger than it looks in photos. Nicely equipped with everything you need. Children can have fun playing on sand dunes, and you are literally just a sand dune away from the beach. Although you can't see the ocean, you can hear it. There is no internet or DStv, so just take your own DVD player with you to keep the children occupied if there is a storm.

Lovely venue on the beach. A real shame you cannot see the sea from the available living spaces. Not quite expected from a house on the beach. The rental living spaces are downstairs, upstairs has the sea view. Nice dining room, kitchen and living areas. West facing, cold in winter. Advertised as 6 sleeping but 2 would have to sleep in the braai area. We would recommend the venue.
We enjoyed Beach Flat, it has all the amenities you need. The walk on the beach is incredible, you can hear the sea, but clearly knew with reservation that we had to go over the dune to see the sea. Will go again, only use the house upstairs.
