Beautiful sea view from the unit. The owner, Ruth, met us upon our arrival and immediately made us feel at home. The unit was adequately equipped with everything that would be required for a pleasant stay. The bed was of high quality and gave us a fantastic and comfortable night's rest. We would definitely recommend the place and want to stay here again ourselves.

Beautiful, neat accommodation with everything you need. So close to the sea you not only see it, but also hear it. Highlight was Zara, the most beautiful dog who came to say hello shortly.

I loved the setting, the neatness, and the stylish decorations and details. I needed a break-away, with privacy and quiet. House Melody was the ideal spot and fulfilled this need in every aspect.
The unit was very nice and beautiful inside. It's a lovely place. Personally, I would just like to be closer to the beach, although it is very comfortable walking distance and is close to a very nice quiet beach. If you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle, and are looking for a nice quiet environment and beach, this is ideal. I would recommend it to anyone for sure.
Really enjoyed the stay. Hostess was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Accommodation was exceptional with comfortable bed, huge shower, well equipped kitchen and safe off-road parking. Close to all amenities with lovely beach and great restaurants on the doorstep.
We had a wonderful stay, Ruth and Geoff were very helpful and kind. The unit was beautifully decorated and had lots of little extras that made travelling with little ones much easier. We had a wonderful time.
We could only spare a weekend to stay at Ruth’s but it turned out to be a perfect holiday break. The cottage is spotlessly clean & smells lovely. We did quite a bit of cooking, so were really glad to have a fully-resourced kitchen. Being on either side of the common areas, the bedrooms feel private and separate from each other. We felt spoiled with free reign of a huge, beautifully maintained garden, complete with comfy patio sets and a Weber. The puppies tend to wander over during meal times but are wonderfully behaved. A quick walk down the road gets you to a much quieter part of Umdloti beach away from the crowds & traffic. We can’t wait to return!
Very welcoming, very nice rooms, spacious and clean, everything is nicely organized and in place.
The decor is very tastefully done and Ruth, the hostess, paints beautifully. In every room there is a work of art or two that invites the sea and the beach in from the outside. Too beautiful and very, very neat.
