There was a lot of load shedding. The apartment has backup power for lights, but it doesn't last very long. No gas stove or even braai facilities for when there is loadshedding. The kitchen is very small and compact and could be better equipped. We did not like that the cleaner welcomed us. We had to talk to the caretaker all the time on WhatsApp if we wanted to know something etc. Instructions on how to get into the complex are very good. My husband was just very frustrated with the lot of loadshedding and the fact that you can't make food properly. I would suggest they put a small braai there at least for the holidaymakers just to at least be able to make food.
Very neat place in Hout Bay with a good location.
We really enjoyed our 2 day vacation there. It's very neat and safe and you get good service. Definitely worth it.
In a very quiet area.
We were welcomed warmly, could rest because it is quiet and safe after our long trip. It's central getting there from Cape Town.
A lovely place! Very neat and clean! We only spent one night here, but will stay here for longer next time. It is very close to the beach! I will definitely recommend this.
Beautiful mountain view to both sides. The unit is brand new. We had a great stay during the Two Oceans marathon and were wonderfully central to zip around both sides of the mountain.

We were very close to the beach and very safe in a complex with gates and codes to the beach. Our place was neat, luxurious and beautiful, but perhaps not ideal for a family with small children. Unfortunately no outdoor play area, and the lawn that does surround the pool is open and not secured. So even though the mountain view was something incredible it was difficult to keep little ones occupied in a less spacious apartment. Had to supervise a lot if they wanted to walk outside due to open pool and complex with cars going up and down. The safe walking distance to the beach was a great treat.
We were a family with 2 small children and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very neat and clean. We didn't need anything more. Will definitely recommend it and stay there again if we go that way again.
After 8 years of not going on holiday we chose the Beachclub, but were left highly disappointed when there was banging noises when we showered, and messages from the owner to please keep showering to a minimum of 3 minutes, it totally dampened our moods, we won't recommend or go back.
We had to wait a few minutes while the lady was finish cleaning and we were on time there, the information that was given to me regarding my preferences was not forthcoming, also not a very friendly host, not once did she ask if we were okay with everything, she send her maid to come and collect the keys, this industry is hospitality and clearly the owner does not know the meaning of the word, what a bad experience.
