What a beautiful home with exquisite finishing touches. It has everything you need for a perfect family getaway with loads of space and chill areas. The kitchen is well-equipped and the place is spotless.
Accommodation is perfect. It is located at the right end of Paternoster, and the owner is very kind.
My stay in this accommodation is a no after I noted spy camera. I feel that I wasted my money.
Enjoyed our time. We weren't too sure about what the owner meant about 'no old music', so couldn't tell if ours was too loud or not.
A modern house with lovely features. The entertainment and pool area is awesome and protected from the wind. The bedrooms are nicely spaced away from the entertainment areas so noise doesn’t affect those who are sleeping.
We received a warm welcome on arrival, nice a cosy entertaining area, will definitely recommend it to any family and friends, and it will not be our last visit for a break away from daily rushed life, thank you.
Perfect spot in Paternoster. The kitchen is so well equipped - every little thing you need. We stayed with a teenager and two little ones and everyone was very happy. Close walk to the beach. And restaurants and places to go are right around the corner. Would definitely recommend the place!

Had a really lovely stay in Paternoster. The process was really great and the team at "stayinpaternoster" was very friendly and engaging. Our hosts at Beachcomber are very nice indeed. The house is very close to the sea/beach and although you can hear the sea, you cannot see it. The place is decorated beautifully and it is ultra clean and neat. 3 Bedrooms all with ensuites and a lovely patio with an undercover braai and heated pool were amazing. The fact that it was also off the grid meant we never felt loadshedding.
We love Beachcomber. It lends itself to a relaxing getaway and all rooms have an en suite. We will go back there again.
The house is exactly as the photos shown. It is close to everything including the beach. The pool is not very big but that didn't matter. It was still lovely to relax in.
The house was amazing, it had everything and more - good Wi-Fi, DStv, dishwasher, and lovely Smeg oven. The pool/braai area is lovely, very quiet and peaceful.
Wonderful home, with more than you need. Heated pool was a winner for the children with lots of space and place to hang out. Will come back anytime.

Lovely pool and patio area!
Beautiful place. Very nicely maintained. You can see it's proud owners who own the piece of heaven. The first time we arrive at a guest house, and the photos on the website are exactly what you get. Each room has an en suite bathroom which works very well if you go with friends/family or couples. The house is equipped with everything. You don't have to search for anything. The little pool is perfect if you just want to cool off a bit. And if you are a braai man like me, then you will appreciate the braai area which is also equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is picture perfect, I wish I could have one like that at home. Would love to visit again in the future.
Was very pleasant, quiet, tidy and comfortable. Just terribly awkward with, I assume the owner and/or someone who lives there. My husband felt there wasn't much privacy, especially since someone seemed to live in the area by the pool. Then at night I also heard a snoring, or commotion/noises at the door that is at the front door, which says private. Then on Friday night there was a knock at the door at around 10 am, I assume it was naughty children because it was loud and vining and when I looked out there was no one. Maybe blinds or curtains could also be considered, I'm scared by nature and getting up at night with a dark night staring at me and the blinds in the rooms I can see through from the inside, I'm but scared and freaked out I see someone walking outside.
Your place is beautiful. Everything you need is at your disposal. Very friendly service.
Such a beautiful house, neat as a pin and spotlessly clean. Within close proximity of the beach and amenities. The kids loved the pool and Netflix. One of the best and safest places to stay in Paternoster.
Amazing getaway.
Very good for a breakaway from the fast moving town life.
This was a wonderful place and definitely value for your money. I highly recommend it for a family or a group of friends. Unfortunately we experienced electricity outages on our second last day. 4 hours in the morning then later again that evening, we then made a decision to leave as we were not equipped to be without electricity at night (there is a gas stove though). Since its a 2 hours+ drive home we had to drive under bad conditions as the road do not have lights. We left early and lost a night that we paid for, I feel that we should have some compensation for this. The electricity issue isn't the house itself but the area, I feel that that should have been communicated on the web page so that we or anything interested can make an informative decision.

Beachcomber is highly recommended for value for money, cleanliness, pool and quality of house contents i.e. furniture, TVs and electronic implements. There is nothing better in Paternoster for the amount per night!
It was a fantastic home, we're already planning our next visit.
I just feel that the check-out time should be extended a little on a Sunday till after 14:00, but we will definitely book Beachcomber again, a fantastic place.

We has family from Melbourne, Australia, with us for our stay and they thorough enjoyed being it. The house has 3 bedrooms with each having its own en-suite bathroom. We had the privilege of meeting the owners of the house on the last day of our stay very nice couple and complimented them on the house. Will definitely be back
Was just very unhappy because there were charges attached which I came to find out about and the receptionist was just very unhelpful and rude!

No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Good Friday, Christmas Day or New Year's Day
Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop. The 'Stay in Paternoster' office is situated about 75m further, on the right-hand side of the road, at 87 St. Augustine Road.

Check-out time: Strictly at 10h00 on the last day of your stay, unless otherwise arranged. Any unit that is not vacated by 10h00 will be subject to a surcharge of R 200 per hour or part thereof, for each hour exceeding the check-out time.
