Leave your room, go through an access gate, cross the road and you're at the beach! It really is that close, and to the swimming part of it, lifeguards are on duty. My room had everything that was needed for self-catering. There's a comfy couch and a flat screen, as well as a patio. There's a pool on the property, and there are braai facilities with bomas, benches and tables. My only issue was the check-out time, which is 9am. However, with everything considered, that really doesn't affect my 5 star rating.

Neat accommodation. What you see in the pictures is very accurate. The amenities are excellent and work very well. There is everything your family could need! Just bring your food with you (or buy from the nearest shops)! Very friendly hosts! Excellent location, basically right by the beach. Close to Amanzimtoti and local shopping centres, so you never have to drive/walk too far to get fresh groceries. The safety is "OK", but could possibly be improved a bit. The parking area can accommodate up to 4 cars, but the location/design of the parking area is a nightmare! You really need to know how to drive to drive in and out of this parking area.
Would prefer more sporting channels on TV!

The check out time is a bit too early, 09:00. Otherwise everything is perfect.
What a surprise. A gem of an establishment with the most caring owners. The staff are great and the accommodation even better. We stayed in number 3 and had the most amazing sea view. This will definitely become our monthly break away. A beautifully well-kept establishment with small surprises for the self-catering unit. Tea and coffee with rusks were provided as a welcome and you don't even have to bring your own dish towel and dishwashing liquid. Units are serviced during the week which is a nice touch and speaks volumes of the caring owners. You have to visit this establishment.
Definitely the nicest, cleanest holiday accommodation I've ever been to. Betty and Neil, the owners, two beautiful people as well as the two ladies who ensure the units are clean and tidy, and the gardener for the grounds, pool and braai area! As a single woman I definitely recommend it, with open windows and sliding door!
Very located, tidy and everything a solo traveler wants. TV service was not good. Other than that great, I will definitely go there again and give referrals to others. Very happy that there is air conditioning in the room.
The place is for adults. Children will be bored to death. Even us as older people were pretty bored.

It was amazing when the owner at one glance in our vehicle, realised it will have difficulties to reach the parking reserved for the room we booked and offered their private garage for our vehicle for the duration of our stay.

We arrived on Saturday, tired from driving from Johannesburg, but the friendly reception, the nice and clean apartment, and best of all the most beautiful view of the sea made our short break worth it!
We really enjoyed the week there. I would just like to see new coffee mugs (without "chips") and throw out all the old melamine crockery.
We would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away to rest. It's just a shame you have to drive far to get to shopping centers because there aren't any in the area.
I love fishing and swimming in the ocean, and the fact that the ocean is just across the road is an absolute plus! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but I think this place could be very nice if the weather cooperated. And on top of that, the shopping centers are less than a kilometer away!
We had a enjoyable and peaceful stay and appreciated the lovely sea view.
It was a very nice place. We had been in a four-bed room and we were three adults the first night and four adults the second night. With two babies. We had to pay R100 per head extra, even for a baby under one. We did enjoy the place and had a good rest. We will definitely go again!
We had a wonderful stay in this open plan unit. The kids really enjoyed it as the beach is a stones throw from the unit and the pool was a bonus. We will definitely recommend the units to family and friends!
