The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, crockery, glassware, pots, pans, cutlery, a full-size electric oven, 4-ring electric hob, gas option, microwave oven, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Kick your feet up, relax and take in the magnificent view lounging on a large, inviting L-Shape couch. A 43-inch flat-screen smart TV is matched with a soundbar, full DStv package, Netflix and high speed 25 Mbps uncapped WiFi with an inverter so you're always connected. Take a step out of the lounge and onto the patio offering panoramic sea and often whale views whilst entertaining over a Weber braai. Cheers your sundowners to the salty champagne air and sunset taking a load off on our picnic table patio bench.
Whale Rock Estate offers a saltwater rock pool, kids shallow pool, squash court, walking beach trail, coin-operated laundry room. 2 free allocated parking bays are available next to the cottage plus a guest parking area. The estate is very secure with 24-hour guards, hourly patrols, and electric fencing. There is also an in-house alarm system.

Our stay in Beach House was so nice that we wanted to book for a 2nd night, but unfortunately the no. 7 house was already booked. It's wonderful that the house is fully equipped, very comfortable and that there is still a teapot available to make a delicious pot of tea and drink it at the same time! Would love to stay in house no 7 again in the future!

All good although the load shedding has got worse. Obviously, not the property's problem but if you need to work, this is difficult.
You will not find a more beautiful location. I spent the whole weekend staring at the ocean and whales, reading and my husband barbecued. Perfect!
We stayed very comfortably and had no need for anything. The accommodation has breathtaking views of the ocean and is so close to the sea. We even saw dolphins! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

The shower in the main room en-suite is a bit awkward. Can't close the bathroom door and shower as the doors clash. It may seem minor and insignificant but if one is lying in bed looking at the view while the other is showering that won't work because you would be in full view of anyone walking by and, yes, other guests in the house or people walking on the path by the rocks as it is of course open to the ocean which is the main reason for the accommodation.
We spent a most relaxing, comfortable 3 days at Beachfront House. Irene was a very helpful host. We would not hesitate to return.

We could not sit outside. I think it is a bit expensive for that time of the year. Shower was not clean. Everything else was perfect.

It was a lovely peaceful weekend with the most beautiful unobstructed sea view. House is neat and clean and well furnished with washing machine and dishwasher for a longer break. Wonderful to wake up every morning with the most beautiful view. A nice wood grill would have topped it off perfectly, but the Weber still did the trick!
The views are very good and I think that is mostly what you pay for. It is not walking distance to town or the cliff path. The cold tap in the first bathroom did not work. I informed the owner.
