2 guests' feedbackIt was a great holiday for our families. The location is wonderful and the space excellent for 10 people. However, while the housekeeper was attentive and eager to please, she tended to be overbearing and irritating when all we wanted to do was relax. We did not need her to be there all the time and told her it was not necessary to come in on Easter Sunday. Another major irritation was the fact that, while we were due to leave at 10 am on the 1st of April, the housekeeper was already cleaning and stripping the beds at 8 am, while we were trying to finish packing. If the checkout time is advertised as 10 am you should respect the guests rights to stay unobstructed and with full access to the premises until 10 am. If you need to start cleaning at 8 am, then make the checkout time 8 am so that visitors can plan accordingly without intrusion.
The stay was satisfactory, and Mary made our stay comfortable.
