Each room is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels, and each of the self-catering cottages has a kitchen and an outside braai area.
The guest house offers access to a communal swimming pool, which is open from October to April. All guests are welcome to use the pool. Internet, other business facilities and laundry are available at an additional charge. A daily housekeeping service is provided for the self-catering cottages, except for Sundays and public holidays. The bed and breakfast rooms are serviced daily.

No. Room was not cleaned in 3 days. Towels were broken. Sheets were not changed. Coffee and sugar as well as milk are not adjusted daily. DSTV did not work. WiFi was off more than on.

Unfortunately, this stay was not pleasant. The unit was really not up to standard for the money one pays. Blinds were broken, the shower head and taps were broken. The couch was very dirty. There is not enough secure parking for all the units' guests' vehicles. Only 3 guests' vehicles can be locked behind gates. Unfortunately, even with our vehicle behind the gates, they broke in at night and stole a few things from the vehicle.
Was very kindly received. Washed some things in the house that I didn't like. So not my type stay.

Enjoyed the beach view. Absolutely loved the electric blankets and heaters which were available in all rooms. Since it was quite cold in Port Nolloth, we were still nice and warm and cosy inside. The place does need a bit of a freshen up. But was perfect for us.
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted. The host went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. The location was perfect. Will definitely go back.

The cottages are very old and need attention. The water was a problem and some taps are broken. Some of the doors could not close. The cottages we stayed in (The Blue House and The Matchbox) are located on the main street with cars driving up and down all night. And also next to the gas station with noise all night long. No, we don't recommend it at all.
The house is centrally located, that's what made the house so interesting.

Breakfast fine albeit the same every day. Bathrooms need better cleaning - mildew build-up and dirty marks on bathroom door around toilet roll holder. (Picture of the bathroom is not for either of the rooms we reserved per question below). Very very bad smell coming from toilet in garden, situated between our room and pool, on the last day.

We stayed in the "Blue House" - very nice and cozy 2-bedroom house close to the sea. Very central, fully equipped for self-catering, full DStv, nice beds. Will definitely stay there again if I'm in Port Nolloth.
We had a great time. The people were extremely hospitable and helpful. They went out of their way to do our laundry as quickly as possible. Even their breakfast was tasty.

Bedrock was a welcoming, clean, spacious and lovely 'old-school' building, decorated as such and kept just as it had been. It was comfortable and enjoyable.
The main bathroom's toilet layout could be better, it is very cramped and narrow.

Advertensie op webtuiste is ook misleidend, want dit gee voor Bedrock is in McDougalls Bay, want ons het spesifiek plekkie daar gesoek. Ook se advertensie WiFi is beskikbaar maar toe nie. Behalwe misverstand oor ligging en WiFi was ons verblyf regtig baie heerlik! Kliëntediens ek gee 100%
The reception at Bedrock Lodge was very friendly and we were upgraded from the Blue House to a house in Beach Road. It is a beautiful old house but needs some attention. It rained in the evening and the roof leaked in many places and as a result the power went out several times during the night. The furniture is beautiful and the house has a lovely cozy atmosphere. Was sorry we only spent one night there.
We had a great stay, the house is central, close to the sea and shops are within walking distance.
Braai area at Matchboxie needs attention.
We were 6 people who lived in Bedrock Lodge's self-catering unit for two nights. The unit was nice and big, with three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The unit is right on the sea and within walking distance of all amenities. (Shops, restaurants, hotel). The unit needs some attention and maintenance.
The place to live was okay but was just worried about my car's safety and our neighbor didn't respect us a bit because he was supposed to be only 2 but there was a group that made a lot of noise. This until late while we slept. Furthermore, our stay was very nice, we really enjoyed sleeping there.
The manager, the lady, went out of her way to improve our stay, she was really helpful. We arrived late and she even accepted alternative arrangements to help us. However, the cottage we lived in was not that clean, there were white spots on the seats and on the second day we realized that there was a mouse in the cottage. The place is not wheelchair friendly. The location is very good though, the sea is just across the road and you can see it through the window. The bathroom of the one cottage is also tiny.
We were booked into Palm cottage. The house needs some attention, the one room door could not close. Everything looks old and one didn't even think to braai in the given area. The front lawn needs mowing, it creates a bad impression if the garden is not tidy.
Overall fine, but upon arrival we noticed that there were no forks in the drawer. This was corrected. On the second day there was almost no water in the shower tap and also the bathroom basin. This was reported to management and the initial response was that there is a a general problem with water pressure in the area and there was nothing that could be done. Upon further complaints the issue was corrected and was sighted as being a water pump related issue. We were also bugged by beggars on a continual basis while sitting on the porch. This was a negative.
Will visit the lodge again.
You can literally stand and drink your morning coffee by the sea. Breathe in nice sea air. The accommodation is clean and by the sea.
Well-equipped self-catering.
Die Bedrock Lodge was baie lekker om by kuier. Die stowe by beide strandhuise kon net 1 plaat van gebruik gemaak word. Verder was die lodge baie gerieflik en het die pragtigste uitsig gehad. Al wat my gehinder het van ons kuier, die onbeleefde en onbeskofte ontvangs en houding van die bestuurder net omdat ons laat sou wees vir inkloktyd. Ek wil baie dankie se aan Zaretta Farmer wat ons ontvang het, baie vriendelik en spontane persoon.
Sleep over with family and children. Bedrock is recommendable for one night. The place is relatively clean. Only problem is that you have to park along the street.
The stay at Bedrock is comfortable and the cottage has everything you need.
