The hosts were incredibly accommodating and the accommodation was fantastic.
We were warmly welcomed, we were spoiled with Zebras and impala near the camp. Unfortunately, our peace was short-lived and we had to listen to our neighbour's loud music all Saturday and Sunday evening. This continued again on Monday morning just before 6. Otherwise we enjoyed it.
The stay was absolutely wonderful! The hosts are so friendly and respond immediately to queries. I would, however, like to put a note out there that the accommodation is near a residence and a wedding venue close by, from which we could hear music. I would rather book one of the other tents that are a bit more isolated in the bush next time. But the stay was wonderful and would definitely recommend it!

It's too expensive for what there is to do but very neat and clean.
We stayed in Bushbaby camp. The tented camp is very spacious and modern inside. We had a nice open view of the bushveld where the animals come to eat and pass by. It is situated in such a way that you have your privacy and is very peaceful.

Absolutely stunning! Linda and I are rather 'critical', but this place we loved and we really have nothing to complain about, except that we had to leave! The hosts were lovely people who engaged with us often. We met their dogs and were blown away by their discipline, especially Mila. The heated splash pool just completed our experience. We are already plotting our next escape to Beka Idube.

Beveel Beka Idube ten volle aan as jy van alles wil wegkom. Die permanente tente is baie ruim met die luuksheid van 'n koninggrootte-bed en 'n verhitte swembad (as jy wil). Al wat jy moet neem is kos en die bietjie ekstra wat op die lys gegee word. Ons was goed ingelig en die kommunikasie na bespreking was baie goed, wat ons welkom laat voel het. Chris is 'n goeie gasheer wat bereid is om sy kennis te deel as jy wil luister!
Very nice stay at Beka Idube. Everything was neat and perfect and very peaceful. The weekend we were there felt like we were on vacation for 2 weeks. The Jacuzzi was a winner. Klippies and Montie who came to visit us every day were very special. Will definitely visit there again.
Most romantic getaway in Gauteng, you won't find better anywhere else. We really enjoyed the weekend, it's a must for any couple to get away from the city for a bit.
The tent is beautiful, neat and well equipped! The natural surroundings create a calm and quiet atmosphere. You know there's people, but you can't see them - every tent has privacy! Everyone is friendly, shares their stories and make you feel at home. It's close enough to Pretoria for a quick getaway, but far enough to leave the noise of the city behind. Will definitely go back!
This is the most beautiful, cleanest accommodation! Nice in nature and the tent made you feel so free and the warm, private swimming pool was a big bonus. You guys are great, will visit again!

The tent was warm. Fire-heated pool kept the cold temperatures at bay. We had a good laugh with the host ─ Zebras aren't striped in black and white at close range.

Beka Idube was rerig een van die lekkerste kampnaweke wat ek al in 'n lang tyd gehad het! Tekkie het ook die naweek net lekerder gemaak.
It's quiet, very neat and clean, the people very friendly, security very good. Couldn't tell my friends and family enough about the place, everyone also says "wow" about the photos and the owner often keeps the Jacuzzi's water warm for us. Nobody bothers you. There are already some of my family and friends who are going to book with Beka Idube.

We were warmly received by Beka Idube. Our unit was tidy and had everything we could possibly need. The zebras grazed right in front of our spot and the night sounds from the rest of the reserves were charming, especially the lions. We're going to make this a regular institution for sure! It was a stunning place, luxurious, well appointed with everything you need. You also have your own swimming pool. Private with a nice boma for a large fire. Lots of game that came close to the tents. Friendly reception.

Beka Idube is the perfect getaway for anyone who needs to get a way from the bustling city to get some rest in the bush. Luxury tents equipped with everything under the sun. Very comfortable facilities and the provide everything you need - 5 different sitting areas for example inside and outside the tent where you can read, chill around the fire of relax in the sun. The game on the farm graze among the tents and the birdlife is diverse. The three tents are far apart for maximum privacy. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the music that disturbed us both nights. It was from the lodge nearby and it continued until the early hours. Which is a pity because Beka Idube markets itself as a "retreat", so it is supposed to be quiet and secluded. Luckily we have a 4x4, anyone with a normal sedan would have struggled to navigate the bad road to Beka Idube. Please be aware that ther road is not suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance.
Pleasantly surprised at the tranquil surroundings of the farm and the warm hospitality from Chris. He was extremely helpful with the variety of activities in the area which all turned out to be a wonderful surprise. Mystique Monkeys was really worth the time and effort to get there and the little Starion Restaurant is a real gem. Our accommodation had everything you need to make the stay very comfortable and especially love the plunge pool when you're hot and need to cool off. Unfortunately the road to the farm needs some attention but if you drive slowly or have a 4x4 you should be okay. Felt very very safe and the gentleman manning the gate was always cheerful and friendly. All in all an excellent way to spend 3 days and would definitely recommend to all my friends and would book again.

We had an incredibly nice weekend. A romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. It rained all weekend, but the place is set up in such a way that it didn't bother us at all. The zebras, wildebeests and roebucks grazed in front of us all the time and the pool was deliciously warm. The units are very private and you don't hear or see a soul. I would highly recommend it - we will definitely be going again!

Very neat and safe environment and facilities. Wonderful to hear the lions and foxes in the morning hours. Zebras, blue wildebeest and roe deer very close to accommodation. Very nice 4x4 routes close to Beka Idube. Boma and braai facilities are well laid out.

I would happily recommend Beka Idube, our unit (tent) was neat, clean and so comfortable. We had a great relaxing weekend and Chris and Coralezet went out of their way to make our weekend comfortable, would definitely go again.
Beka Idube, was an easy drive from Johannesburg and very easy to find. Chris and Coralette, were wonderful hosts and our luxury tent was both beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and wonderful to be able to dip in the pool or braai while watching the zebra, wildebeest and impala drink at the water hole. We had a relaxing, peaceful visit and would definitely recommend this beautiful place.
It was so lovely staying in one of the 3 luxurious tents while you sit in your own little swimming pool (that can be heated up to 42 degrees!) and the zebras, blue wildebeest and impalas graze just a few feet from your patio! The sleeping facilities are beautiful and modern and there is nice bedding. The only little bit of criticism I have is that the shower head was way too small to enjoy the nice big shower. We have already recommended Beka Idube to friends and family.
This is a nice getaway place for everyone who is just looking for a piece of tranquility from their hectic lives. Zebras, wildebeests and impalas stop by the tent every day for food and water. Here you can also spot a lot of woodland birds and just go for a walk in the field. The owners' three friendly dogs come to visit every now and then without being a nuisance. Their breeding programs with miniature horses and Irish Hounds an interesting part of the context. Finally, the owners' warm hospitality makes it a joy to arrive here, to return home happy and refreshed.

Beka Idube was the first place we have ever visited which was exactly as advertised. Peaceful and quiet, it is a place where you are welcomed like family and your soul can find rest.
It's a peaceful place where you get a chance to enjoy nature and spend time with loved ones. It's very clean and tidy and not overcrowded. You can enjoy your privacy and it's only a stone's throw away from the hectic city life.
