We had a wonderful stay. Was kindly received with treats on the beds. Had everything we needed at our disposal. We slept great, bed is very comfortable. Nice view. My son really enjoyed it. Was within walking distance of the witness pools, so could walk down to the sea.
We were so spoilt with little treats and special touches. They are very generous and caring and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

The stay was peaceful and I really enjoyed the silence. You only sometimes hear the TV upstairs, but it didn't bother. Unfortunately, the sink in the kitchen and work surface does not work well. You can barely fit a plate in it (then you have to hold it at an angle) and I've hit my head on that overhead microwave stand a few times. (Sorry I have to highlight this for future guests).

Wonderful reception. Place is comfortable, so close to the sea. Mrns hear sea all night while you sleep.
We rested well. The place is nicely situated for a nice walk along the sea on the coastal road and other routes. It is approximately 4 km from Hartenbos and 6 km from Groot-Brak. The room and bathrooms are well equipped and the bed sleeps well. The only problem is that we cannot boil water or heat anything if there is a power cut. Furthermore, it is quite sufficient for our two persons. Thank you for your hospitality and the treats on the bed.

Johan and Madelein are people of the heart and spoil their guests. Very good service and we will definitely stay there again. We really enjoyed our time there.
Location is very good, a few steps from the beautiful beach. Johan received us kindly and hospitably with chocolates on the bed and helped to lock our vehicle safely in the garage. Kitchen facilities are very limited, but for the very reasonable price this is no problem.

Large room, excellent mattress, large fridge despite small kitchen space. The garage is highly appreciated. Full DStv and two bathrooms make it an excellent stay!
The kitchen is unfortunately very, very small. Well equipped, but there is no space to use equipment. No hot water and sink too small to wash dishes, there is room for 6 people, but it was difficult to prepare food for 3 people. TV and dining room also do not have space for 6 persons. The maximum people the place can handle is 3 people, maybe 4.

We had a wonderful stay and it is a beautiful village. The owner was very friendly and you have the freedom to ask if you need something, but they respect your privacy. The house is walking distance from the sea. The house is bigger than I initially thought with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is small, but it is also called so on the website. It is well equipped though. This was not a problem for us, as we only stayed for a weekend and we had a great barbecue anyway. The braai facilities are fantastic. I will stay there again if I'm in the area again. It remains very good value for money and the place met all our needs.
What a lovely and comfortable place! Everything you need. We were made to feel so at home by uncle Johan and aunt Madeleine, with treats on the bed and the one night! Cup runs over, I can really recommend to anyone. The warm welcome on arrival by the owner makes you feel right at home. The cottage is fully equipped. Anyone who wants real rest for the soul can come and stay here. All you hear is the waves of the sea that bring calmness to your mind.

We were welcomed and showed around by our gracious host, and immediately felt welcome. The flat was very spacious. The main bedroom had its own bathroom and sitting area - complete with solid wood furniture from an era long gone. The property is perched on a little hill overlooking the Indian Ocean. Stunning views to be had from the barbecue area. We felt extremely safe and secure - as that part of Tergniet is especially quiet and safe. Had a wonderful night's rest whilst drifting away to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below. We had a great stay, and can highly recommend Johan and Madeleine's place. And they are real caring hosts!

Ons het heerlik gerus, my honde en kinders was veilig. Ontvangs was baie goed. Die plek is gerieflik en skoon. Sal beslis weer hier kom oorslaap en selfs 'n vakansie daarvan maak. Baie dankie.
