I had such a great time! I took lots of things with me, which I didn't even need, because there is everything you need and more! The place is safe and properly fenced for pets, with the most beautiful view from the veranda and hot tub. Almarie went out of her way to make us feel at home. We will definitely visit again!

Nice peaceful getaway spot. Reception very friendly. If I could criticize it would be the "stock taking" you have to do on arrival. There is a shelf full of snacks such as jam, olives etc. which sells Beleivers destiny that is placed in the unit for you. It feels like you walk into a paddock and then there is a form you have to take stock and check if everything that is on the list is on the shelf. It is very frustrating. I feel everything is on their website so if you are looking for something you will ask them, keep it in the lapa at the main house.

We really enjoyed it! The owners made us feel so welcome, we didn't want to go home. Our daughter and her boyfriend (now future son-in-law) got engaged here and Almarie (forgive me if I got your name wrong), helped us to have everything perfect upon our arrival before the big moment. Warthog is perfect, no shedding! Solar power was off the books! The milkshakes and cocktails at the lapa were another big surprise and "to die for". When we left we had breakfast at the lapa and some of our eyes were definitely bigger than your stomach! We were rock hard! My wallet also took quite a knock with all the things I bought there, the variety is just too big! You simply can't choose! We will definitely see you again! Your hospitality stood out! May you go to even higher heights!

Best believe that after an amazing 3 night stay in the Bush Cat Caravan, I am refreshed. Prefect off the grid location and really takes after its name. It runs off solar power and a donkey geyser with a bonus wood fired hot tub overlooking the farm as I call it a big screen TV with nature being your only channel. You are not affected by loadshedding at all. Stargazing at night was magical. Clean and has all the necessities needed for your stay even a fan. They have a restaurant on site that serves amazing breakfast and milkshakes to even selling meat. Had a celebration platter ordered, and it was delicious. Thank you for a great stay Almarie.

There is really nothing negative that I can say except for the last 5km dirt road. Almarie warned us in advance that the weather would affect the dirt road, but if we were to exclude the weather, I personally would still not have taken my car and would rather use a bakkie-type car. The road was too uneven and full of large stones.

It was truly a very pleasant break, the hospitality was out of the books and the accommodation was so neat.
Very neat and clean accommodation surrounded by the most beautiful nature. Almarie is very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our woof really enjoyed it too! They run on solar power so note that the equipment is limited, don't expect a luxury experience. It's nice forest life! One day it rained and was very cold and there is only the fireplace to keep you warm. So people make a lot of use of wood, which they happily sell at a good price.

Everything about this stay was perfect. We were looking for some peace and quiet and was definitely the perfect stop. From the stunning sunrise and sunsets to the cosy accommodation. We really did not want to leave when the time came. Would definitely recommend it.
It's a beautiful place and very quiet. Easy access to get to Witsand. There are surrounding places for quick excursions and the hot tub is amazing.
Don't be put off by the long list of "do nots" and all the paperwork you receive before you go, and be aware that they charge R100 per dog per day, which is not on the website, and they charge a refundable deposit. But, this place is marvellous and Almari and Clive are excellents hosts (sorry that I came close to blowing up the donkey at the caravan, but saved by Clive!). I stayed at the caravan (make your own hot water in the donkey) – lovely and cosy for one person and two dogs, and at Vlakvark – spacious and roomy, lovely kitchen and deck, and both were excellent. The hot tubs are out of this world. The short walk in the forest is just the right length (walk it more than once if it is not enough). There is so much positive to say about this place, I won't have enough words. Excellent beyond words. Maybe the towels can just be a little bigger!

Kick off your shoes and relax in the jacuzzi, or enjoy a braai on the veranda with the most beautiful views of the Langeberg and Swartberg. Or pack your walking shoes and do the short, but beautiful and challenging circular route on the farm. Our two dogs went together and enjoyed themselves! An advantage is that they have everything from homemade sausages to ready-made salads and if you feel like eating out, Almari spoils you with the most delicious meals in the lapa. (The pizza is a winner) The cottage is fully equipped and there was really nothing missing. I would definitely recommend it, because we were taken care of.

We had a lovely 3 night staty at Believers Destiny (Bushcat). The cosy caravan was perfectly set up for a couple, well equipped little kitchen, braai area, bathroom, deck with outdoor seating, and the winner was the hot tub! Friendly hosts, clean, quiet and peaceful surroundings, excellent cocktails and milkshakes at the lapa, stunning views! Well done to the owners and hosts for creating this little piece of heaven for us to escape to for a few days!

The pics do not do this accommodation justice. The owners have taken great care to make the unit comfortable and despite running on solar power, is so comfortable and the perfect place to escape the city, soak in the hot tub and play board games in front of a roaring fire. Great winter escape for the entire family- we visited with our 11mnth old and two small dogs. The platters and pizzas are delicious. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in Vlakvark, a nice stone house that is well laid out for relaxing and visiting. Warming up the outside Jacuzzi with fire is a hit in the winter, as well as the north-facing veranda that gets lovely sun for relaxing, sleeping and visiting.
The right getaway to recharge. Almarie and her husband made us feel very much at home. They go to great lengths to make guests' stay easy. Breakfast and platters were a hit.
We were somewhat disappointed in the breakage deposit we had to pay in advance, and the bulky document with rules. It might be a recommendation to put it on the website in advance, so that prospective guests can decide there and then whether they see a chance for the inventory survey at the beginning of the stay. It is also recommended that it is mentioned that drinking water must be brought with you. The water is undrinkable-brackish, even for making coffee. Road is very bad.
It is remote and very quiet. A place where you can breathe without TV or any interference. A must for people looking for silence.

We were treated with the best hospitality the countryside could offer! Our accommodation, The Bush Cat, was just the cutest little room, fitted with all the essentials we needed. Our outside braai and heated splash pool's fires burned deep in the late night as we enjoyed the full moon rising in the East. Truly a beautiful setting. We will be back for the coming winter!
Believers' Destiny is easy to get to, but still feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The ideal break away from the city bustle! The hosts are warm and welcoming and wood-fired hot tub is superb!
Here you can relax in peace. It's quiet and it's only you, nature and your thoughts. Really enjoyed the stay and everything was clean. Everything you need is just a short drive away, but you may not complain if you enjoy it, and believe me, we enjoyed every moment.

As a family we broke away to Believers Destiny, it was necessary before we entered the busy Christmas time. We enjoyed the silence and our boy thoroughly enjoyed the hot pool. Definitely value for your money! We plan to go again, but next time without the children.
The weekend was for a break from the Cape and celebrating our wedding anniversary. We received shared directions on Whatsapp on the day of arrival and found the place with minimal effort. The house was clean and everything was in its place. Wood is also provided at an extra fee. The braai facilities were pretty big. We will definitely use them again and will discuss in advance because we suspect they will be full in the future.

The place is very neat and well furnished. No closet for groceries. The cleaning fee is a bit rough for me as place has to be cleaned for next guests anyway. We only left 4 coffee mugs and a black pot and were asked R250 and because we didn't remove ashes from braai place?

It's was a problem finding the place but when we got there we loved it.
The little house is well-equipped, it even has a little bath for the baby. The warm bath was wonderful. We had a great time!

It really is a beautiful and peaceful place, it is very clean and neat. We already booked our next weekend and will go again anytime for a weekend and stay there, won't stay anywhere else. Made everything by themselves, bed, chair, door, door knob, kitchen, bathroom and much more. Very spectacular. Everything is natural material. Location is a little isolated. But they are busy building some more.
We had a very nice stay and relaxed. Will definitely visit Believers Destiny again! The view of the hills and the hot tub on the porch was a winner.
