The host was really welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we got there. The house was larger than expected with all amenities on site, including electric blankets and some "sort Wyn" to warm us up. The house is conveniently located close to the golf course with beautiful views of the mountain. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back same time next year.
Will definitely stay there when I go to Jefferies Bay. Drive rather than sleep over in Colesberg again. Hospitality and value for money. Beautiful place to stay.

Bell House is a beautiful, comfortable, clean and delightful accommodation. The owners make you feel very welcome and the accommodation has all the facilities you could need for a wonderful visit. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully furnished and the paintings and other decor make it feel like home. Will definitely stay there again when we are in Somerset East.

Beautiful place and ideally located. Reception from owner so pleasant. Felt at home immediately. Everything was explained to us so nicely despite the fact that we only stayed there one night. Our hosts were so kind, friendly and generous. They have split their home to create a really warm and cozy little cottage that has everything you need. The chocolates by the bedside were such personal touch that blew us away. Chris is not only a published botanist but also a budding artist. His amazingly detailed paintings are placed all over the cottage depicting Eastern Cape scenes. They have a diverse selection of books for young and old. They have a few fruit trees on the property so for breakfast most of the condiments were homemade. The fig jam, chutney, venison sausage, orange juice all came from their little garden. It was cold so Chris laid out a large amount of wood for us to burn through the night. We will definitely stay at Bell House Akkommodasie again.
This cottage has everything you could possibly need. The garden is a loop court and the owners really make an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Will definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay. Hearing birds at night in the evening as you lay in bed was a highlight. We were so helped with our many requests with exceptional good service and friendliness. We will definitely visit Bell House again. Thank you very much.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed for longer. Everything was beautiful, neat, clean and neatly furnished. Very well equipped with a lovely fireplace/indoor braai which was cozy. Chris was also a very pleasant host. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful surroundings. Self-catering unit was tidy with spacious rooms, kitchen and social area. Really enjoyed the antiquities and Afrikaans books about antiquities. Will visit again.

We were received with wonderful hospitality at The Bell, and carried on. The owner went out of his way to make extra effort for us. Everything was absolutely neat. Every room was clean and in every room were the most beautiful flowers. We were also spoiled with coffee, biscuits and chocolate. Even the fire was ready for us and we just had to light it. It is also located in a particularly beautiful place and we had a beautiful view of the mountain. I would definitely recommend The Bell to anyone!
