Bella Vista unit 2 was great. We had a very nice stay. Everything was clean, nice and tidy. The fireplace worked great and we made a lovely fire and it was nice and warm - the beds also had electric undersheets. The service was great: there was a problem with the toilet which was solved within half an hour. The location is also great. The only drawback was that the tub/shower is not comfortable for older people. Getting in is awkward and a handheld shower might have made the showering process easier.
The stay was very pleasant. I loved the shaded parking for my car. The only slightly uncomfortable part was the absence of privacy for the use of the bathtub.
Room very comfortable with large bed and bath, with a fireplace that works well. Cleaning services very friendly and good. The freezer part of the fridge is very small, so if you want meat or ice for more than one evening, it doesn't work. The place just needs a decent set of kitchen knives and Unit Two only has a shed, not a garage.

Such a pity that there's a restaurant up in the street. Loud music was played until 2 in the morning over the weekend. It breaks down the peaceful atmosphere that once prevailed. Will think twice before staying there over a weekend.
They have to take a look at the water drainage of the bath in number 1. You stand in your own filthy water and shower, because the drain is blocked.

If you're a couple looking to get away on your own and still be close to everything in Clarens, Bella Vista 2 is the one for you. It's beautifully decorated, romantic, private, warm and cosy. Bella Vista offers a beautiful place to stay with all the necessary facilities. Our place was clean and very comfortably furnished, location is ideal.
We had a very nice time in Clarens as well as Bella Vista, the place exceeded our expectations. We would have liked a lock-up garage, but nevertheless our car was safe and we suffered no losses during our visit.
Bella vista House 1 has 2 beds in the living room intended for children or a very light woman. Bath not suitable for the elderly. There are burglar bars in front of windows that open and a security gate at the front door, but around the complex there is only a very low wall. Sound from the hotel across the street's air conditioning bothers a bit. Pros are breathtaking view of mountains from all the windows, painstakingly neat, great linen, everything new. Just a block from the square, so it's only a few minutes walk.
It was pleasant, well equipped. The wood I got every day was a bonus. It was nice and warm in cold weather. It is well located. I really enjoyed the place. All that was not clear was how the keys would be "handed over" to me. This could perhaps be made clearer to guests.
