When we arrived there was not a working bell. Out of the gate we had to struggle to get hold of the hostess, when she called back she was not aware of our booking (don't know if the error was with the website or Bene). Reception was unpleasant and we did not feel at home at all. The photos on the website look very nice, but the furniture has since been changed. The black mold in the shower put me off and the floor in the room was dirty. For the first time since teasing I'm not going to be able to recommend this place. Next time I will stay elsewhere.

We stayed at Bene for 3 nights. We wanted to be close to the retirement resort, Rusoord, and Bene was very conveniently located for that. The unit is located on the owner's premises. The open bedroom and kitchen area was nice and spacious. The double bed had quality white linen on it, there was a nice sitting area with a table and 2 chairs to eat at. There was a chair and mirror with a plug for the hairdryer provided. What was really cool was the first aid kit. The kitchen had everything that makes it convenient to have a nice stay. There was a fridge, microwave oven and a TV with full DStv as well as WiFi which worked very quickly. The kitchen had a coffee machine but no coffee and filters were provided, this could have been a nice treat. There was a bottle of water for our use as well as fresh milk in the fridge. The bathroom was very small and only 1 person could be in the bathroom at a time. Which included a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a separate bedroom for 2 more people or children. Parking was covered in front of your unit. There was a day/night light that burned by the car, but the light was very distracting as the curtains could not block out the light. Perhaps a blind can be installed to keep the light out of the room at night. There was a remote control gate which made access safe and quick into the premises. The hostess was very friendly and respected our privacy. We can recommend Bene for a nice stay.

Felt very welcome and although we didn't know about the pool, the owner invited the children to go swimming, which the children really enjoyed. Children also really enjoyed the cats that came in because we love cats. Although there is a fan in the living area where the children slept, we feel there could have been a fan in the bedroom where we slept too, terribly hot in the summer and therefore we struggled to sleep. Otherwise very nice stay. Full DStv PVR decoder with catch-up, so the kids could watch their stories.

Zanette and Jacques were amazing. Our booking was accepted with less than 24 hours notice. Zanette had no problem with us booking in late as she understood that we needed to be at the hospital. The location is excellent and close to the Unitas Hospital. We loved the decor and everything was clean and tidy. The fruit basket, tea, coffee and bottled water was a life saver in between the rush to and from the hospital. Thanks for everything.
