The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Lovely, big bathroom with beautiful towels. Our host started a fire for us as we only arrived at 19:00 and all the crockery etc. was set out on the patio table. Extremely welcoming after a long journey.
I can really recommend this accommodation without any reservation. The room is well equipped with a very comfortable bed and a full size fridge. There are all kinds of conveniences for braai outside the units and a TV. Very neat and clean and incredible value for money.

Johan and Marina are very hospitable and friendly. They have already performed miracles on the farm and we have no doubt that it will become a special place. Our room was not 100% clean, but we realize that they were very busy with other preparations when we were there. Our room was a bit small and the cold, wet weather made it difficult for us to sit outside for long. Unfortunately there is no room for chairs in the room. We still recommend Benson's Lodge. It's a gem in the area and we're sure it's only going to get better soon.
Owners were very friendly but unfortunately the rooms were dirty and without exaggeration, covered with spiders and cobwebs, from the floor to the roof! One bed was clean but the other room and bed were full of bugs and there were spiders everywhere, even between the sheets. Could see the room and bedding had not been cleaned in a very, very long time. We booked a day in advance so there was plenty of time to get the room ready for guests. The outside is all nice and tidy so we hope the owners will urgently pay attention to the rooms.
Comfortable bed, clean and spacious.
Johan and Marina welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. Was able to recharge my forest van's batteries at no extra cost.
Farm dinner at Benson's Guest House: real, superior farm food and old-world elegance. And wonderful hospitality!

We were there as a group of people who celebrated our 38-year school reunion there. Johan, one of the co-owners is really so friendly and helpful. He made us the most delicious breakfast. They spare no effort to make their guests comfortable. I would recommend them with great confidence.
Benson's Lodge is definitely recommended to stay overnight.
Please can you look at the shower. There is spider web. And clean under the bed. It is nice place to be. Friendly staff.
