From the moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed, the rooms are spacious and tidy and the breakfast was delicious! Will book there again anytime.
Very nice place with a breathtaking view. Always someone available to help you with something if needed. Even got a baby cot for our room for our little son. Will definitely come back again.

Sink cracked, toilet seat broken, serious urgent maintenance required. Light switch next to the shower! Not even a bottle of water in the room, 2-point plug sitting behind the bed, not cleaned there for years. Leaving early the next day, thanks for the packed lunch because we didn't have breakfast, but the apple was rotten.
Guesthouse screams for maintenance and attention. Get the feeling of a place on its last legs.

Clean towels every morning and the rooms are cleaned every morning. Nice breakfast included. Delicious treat. Definitely worth a second visit.
We went as a family with a group of friends and children but no one complained about enjoying themselves instead everyone was happy, having fun and enjoying the nice reserved beach that is just across the street. Thank you to the manager and the friendly staff. We will surely come back again.

I can not compare this place to any other. Being away from home for a month, made me miss my family and little pooch. Bently on the Beach was such an amazing experience and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is overwhelmingly delicious and the rooms are so neat, spacious and comfortable. Let me not forget the view of the ocean right on your doorstep. This is definitely a 5 STAR experience for me. I hope to stay here very soon, just for the breakfast muffins that the ladies bake fresh every morning. The view from our room on the sea side was beautiful. The patio with swimming pool is ideal for lazily relaxing and enjoying the sea view. Our room was well equipped, nice and big, clean and tidy, and comfortable. All equipment was in good working order. The variety at breakfast was a bit limited - no fruit - but nevertheless pleasant and well prepared. It's luxury accommodation in a luxury neighborhood very close to Umhlanga Rocks, and the price reflects that, but in my opinion it was worth the price for a nice treat.

Photo is deceiving of guest house, the owner's house next to the guest house, the breakfast is nice but basically the same every day, no variety. The place needs work to keep it up to standard for 4 star. The sun loungers on the wooden deck are broken. I would not recommend Bentley, not until upgrades and restorations are done. Curtains in room D are torn, hanging piecemeal on rails.
From being locked in due to broken keys to not being able to get out the gate due to a faulty gate motor and not sufficient parking. It really could be a nice place if managed properly.
Breakfast was not up to standard. Room was not too clean. Tea was out of the question and neither were tea spoons. The hot water in the morning was very cold.

Microwave was dirty on arrival and not cleaned for 4 days. Front door gives problems and balcony door cannot close at all. Curtains are missing 3 hooks and hang completely askew. Kitchen staff come to take order and bring the wrong food every morning, talk so loudly and make incredible noise while working. Good for overnight but won't be able to stay long.
