12 guests' feedbackThe apartment is very well located, close to shops and the beach with a sense of security. We had a very nice stay. We were only surprised with the fact that we had to pay entrance and for electricity.
All good, but service from agent poor, DStv did not work on arrival and took a full day to resolve. Fridge/cooler did not work, diabetic family member had insulin to keep cool and this was a problem. It spoilt the arrival and first couple of days.
The estate was beautiful, we enjoyed morning walks through the streets, and ended up on the beach, because it's so close to the houses. The house we stayed in was so comfortable, especially with a 5 month old baby, and we had the most beautiful view in the mornings from our bedroom. We would go back again anytime. Worth every cent. Thank you!
Our experience was unbelievable. What we saw on the pictures was exactly what we got and a little more, from the entry at the gate with the friendly security service to the day's we spent on the beach we made good memories. Access was a joy too and from the beach.
The accommodation was one of the best that we have had as a family. We have teenage daughters and we had a nice time together but still had our own space, we didn't feel in each other's way. It is because of the nice space that we all had. The facilities were pleasant, we really enjoyed the safe parking and gated community a lot. We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy such value for money. We are definitely coming back and highly recommend it to friends and family.
Cape Surprise is the place to go. Would recommend.

The accommodation was nice, but why do I have to pay for access and electricity. I have already payed for the place.
The name Cape Surprise was confusing because we were looking for an apartment with a similar name. The reception was not so warm and helpful, but the spacious apartment and view made up for this. The bedding and apartment were pretty clean but the kitchenware e.g. grater, from the plates, glasses, cutlery etc. was not very clean. The apartment is not located near shops which is both advantageous and disadvantageous. Advantageous, because it is peaceful and no hustle and bustle, and disadvantageous because one cannot walk quickly to get something to eat or drink. You have to drive to get to shops.
The flat is beautifully located and well equipped. Access to the beach was safe and nearby. We would definitely use this flat again when we visit Strand.
Affordable apartment for a family. There is a large living space. I will use it again.
