Additionally, this cottage has a kitchenette equipped with a gas plate, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. This space also has a fireplace and a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together.
This cottage has no electricity; however, lanterns are provided for light. Please note the unit does not have a TV, and the farm does not have cellphone reception. Outside there is a covered patio with seating where guests can enjoy a morning coffee or a sundowner while having a braai.
Kruisrivier Guest Farm offers a range of activities such as fishing, mountain biking, swimming in the dam and bird watching. A variety of animals can be seen such as tortoise species, springboks, eland, Black Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, steenbok and over 180 bird species.
Various walking trails can also be found on the farm, and guests are welcome to bring their quad bikes with prior arrangements. Pets are also welcome with prior arrangements. Game rides are available at an additional cost per hour.
