13 guests' feedbackWe had such a nice stay! The cottage is nicely furnished with everything you need for a few days. The braai facilities and the wood-fired hot tub on the large stoep were of course the highlight! And the wood one could buy there on an honest basis was very convenient. Thanks also to the man who came to clean the braai place every morning and packed the wood again for the next fire. I would stay at Bergsicht again anytime!
Bergsicht Country Farm Cottages is a gem tucked away in Tulbagh. The surroundings are beautiful and the stay was wonderful. The cottage is very well equipped and the hot tub was definitely the highlight of our weekend. I will definitely go back to Bergsicht Country Farm Cottages again.
Everything we needed was there. They even made provision for rechargeable lights for when loadshedding took place. I would definitely go back. I would definitely go back.
Fantastic quiet getaway in the Cape countryside. Location is perfect and the facilities even better. Everything you need for a peaceful self-catering break. The wood-fired hot tub is the star of the show. Very nice on the lawn under the stars in the evening.

We really enjoyed and appreciated it. Clean, tidy, cosy, beautiful and welcoming. Was a fantastic getaway to the middle of nowhere yet close enough to lots of places to visit.

We stayed in African Delight and it's a lovely unit. Marileze kept us up to date with details via email and WhatsApp. Very nice "hot tub" at each unit. Lots to do in the area. Nicely central and close to town for basic necessities. Would definitely recommend.
Just don't use the fireplace. You smoke yourself out of the building.
Beautiful, neat cottage, but African Delight Cottage (number 3) has no privacy. It borders Number 2 next door and we could hear every word spoken by the family staying there. The parking for both units is in front of African Delight, with the implication that our neighbours passed by our house all the time, which violated our privacy on the patio, braai area and hot tub.
Beautiful location, clean and tidy, good linen. Owners are lovely. We would definitely recommend. We lived in unit 3.

Day visitors are not permitted and the number of people per unit is limited to the number of guests on the confirmed booking. Management reserves the right to perform an inspection at any time if they suspect these rules are not being adhered to.Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the establishment and it is not recommended for very low vehicles. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Please drive slowly on the dirt road.
Because of the gravel terrain and the staircase, this accommodation may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
Enough firewood for the first fire is provided. Extra firewood is available at an additional fee. Guests may also pre-order.
Please smoke in designated smoking areas on the patio. Any form of smoking is prohibited inside cottages. Cigarette stubs should be discarded in the bin.
There is a strict noise policy in place and guests should please refrain from making loud noises or playing loud music during the day. A no-noise policy takes effect at 22:00.
This unit is not suitable for parties, events, or private functions of any kind.
The units are not suitable for pets.
There will be a breakage fee in case of any loss or damage.
The stove and chimney are extremely hot while in use and guests should please refrain from touching them.
Please ensure that the embers are properly extinguished. Do not leave fires unattended.
Please refrain from using soap/bubbles in the hot tub. It damages the filtration system and will result in a fine.
