Fantastic - neat, clean, peaceful with a beautiful view.
Amazing, gorgeous, going back!
It was a perfect break away with lovely wine estates close by, and the lodge itself had all the amenities needed. The hot tub is great and is located under a roof, so it can be used even when it's raining.
Bergsicht exceed our expectations, we will surely recommend them to others as our stay was really a stay not to forget.
The only negative is that it is very dark inside even though the sun is shining. Maybe a little stronger lighting. Other than that, everything was 100%.
What a gem of a place. The tranquility is so contagious and the scenery is picture perfect. The hot tub is a must to enjoy. Upon arrival our expectations were exceeded. The place is painfully neat and is exactly like the photos on the website.
The unit is very nice decor-wise and very clean but the pictures were a bit deceiving as the outside looks a bit run down in comparison to the pics. Also, this unit is advertised as a couple getaway so we expected a level of privacy but the front of the house faces the farm road leading to the houses closely around you as well. I would suggest putting up something that gives more privacy but still allows you to enjoy the beautiful view.

Second time we come here for a short weekend holiday. The particular house is much bigger than previous residence Angelino, but I prefer Angelino for 2 people. The management is available via WhatsApp and before our holiday sent very helpful material about Tulbagh and what was happening in the town that weekend. The place is excellent, clean, tidy and comfortable. Definitely value for money.
The Jacuzzi was a lovely surprise! We thought there is only a splash pool. Will definitely be back!
Had a great time. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Children and parents really enjoyed hot tub. Neighbors were a bit noisy with loud music, but that was not the host's fault.
Neat and well-furnished cottage, lovely atmosphere, peace and quiet on the farm with a beautiful view of majestic mountains while you relax in the warm patio bath with barbecue facilities at hand. Wine glasses with very small goblets. Limited storage space in kitchenette for own shopping. Owners can create just a little more privacy by wooden fence in front of the cottage so that bored neighbors/other guests can keep their eyes to themselves when driving by. Know they warn it's a working farm, aware of that, but it will add extra value to accommodation.
I enjoyed every bit of my stay. The place has all the required amenities and it's in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. The cottage was clean and had what we needed.

The price is very high considering the ruby star house is exposed to everyone on the farm. It does not show in the pictures that you are right between the private property and the people next door with little privacy when you are in the hot tub.
Would definitely recommend it.
Arriving at the farm was not the best view/first impression. Junk piles amidst live stock, when we got to the cottages it looked better aesthetically. The cottage itself was beautiful though!
The place is very well located, beautiful view. Would definitely recommend to people looking to explore the Tulbagh area.
Here you can break away from the city, relax in the farm atmosphere and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and vineyards. Fully equipped with fireplace for winter, air conditioning and a plunge pool for summer. Painfully neat and everything one needs. Here I can get away, highly recommend it and will definitely return again soon.
We were very surprised upon our arrival. There is everything one needs. It's really only needed for swimming towels, food and your personal stuff. The 'small' pool was perfect for cooling off on the hot December summer days and the air conditioners a big treat! The incredible view and most beautiful sunsets were absolutely perfect. What a great treat!
We were very impressed with the service we received. Our firewood was packed neatly and we just had to set them alight. The cottage was neat and clean. I forgot salt and pepper at home, but the host took precaution.
We were a group of 5 people attending a wedding and it was unbelievably great. The view from the cottage was breathtaking and we'll definitely stay here again.

A really lovely weekend on a beautifully appointed farm with uninterrupted views of the mountains. A rustic outdoor hot tub completes the picture. Everything we needed was there. Run by a really warm friendly couple. Will definitely be back.

The view on the mountain was excellent. Thank goodness for an air conditioner in the bedroom. The place is well equipped, neat and clean. The "Spa" in front of the house is very lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We got a real farm feel.

Everything was beautifully clean and neat! We enjoyed our stay, every moment. Everything we needed was there. We, however, only had a few minutes of WiFi per day even though they make quite a thing of advertising it. One day we didn't even have WiFi at all.
The house was well equipped, neat and clean. Sunburst Cottage is in a beautiful setting with wonderful views.
We were 6 people and stayed in Sunburst. The cottage is superbly furnished with a massive braai and nice boma - enough wood was provided.
Our stay here was amazing. Not as private as I would've like because it seems easily accessible to anybody not staying there and is situated directly on the road. However, the accommodation (Lady Red) itself was much better than we expected for the price, and the wood-fired hot tub was absolutely perfect (and easy to use). Perfect for those seeking a quiet, secluded getaway.

Enough firewood for the first fire is provided. Extra firewood is available at an additional fee. Guests may also pre-order.
