Bergview B&B is located in a tree-lined street, close to the Drosdy Museum and good restaurants. I was kindly received. The facilities are stylishly furnished and equipped with everything one could need. The breakfast was delicious: I chose the traditional English breakfast. Bergview B&B is top notch, and can be wholeheartedly recommended.
Lidia upgraded our room without asking more. She wanted us to see the view of the mountain every day. She made a dinner date for us at a restaurant every night and also booked a place for Father's Day dinner. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and introduce Swellendam to us. It was because of her that we decided to retire there.

The hospitality actually starts even before the time, because we often got text messages about the address, that they are ready for us and waiting for us, so you just feel welcome even before the time! Once there, the reception was very good, everything in place and ready for us. The room is fantastically beautiful - very clean, everything looks very new and tidy, nothing is broken or chipped in the kitchen. The bed and bedding are very clean and look great to sleep in. The breakfast was very nice and the lady was so friendly with her reception, the presentation of the breakfast and the food itself was all of high quality. The 2 day visit there was excellent! A suggestion: to put aircon in the room maybe.
