Was fantastic. If you are a person who likes incredibly beautiful nature this is the place to go.
Picturesque nature with an exceptional waterfall. We really enjoyed the walk and the routes and options were very well explained to us. The free wood is a huge bonus. Very peaceful getaway.
Waterfall hiking trail was breathtaking and just difficult enough. We stayed in the Vakashani house. It was spacious and cozy with a nice fireplace. All that is needed are cleaning products (cloth for dishes/wiping and enough washing-up liquid). Heaters in the rooms were extra welcome!
Uncle Attie was very hospitable and made sure we were comfortable. Next time we will definitely stay in the Vakashani Guest House. The scenery around you is incredible.
Quiet, peaceful and utterly beautiful. The different habitats you experience on one place is absolutely amazing and the effort put in to create the trails is amazing as well. All I can say is book, experience it and be amazed. One of my best ever weekends!

We had a wonderful family reunion with my parents following lockdown. It was perfect for scenery, peace and quiet and stunning hiking trails. No fancy bells and whistles, but perfectly comfortable. Be aware there is no signal! Attie was very informative and very welcoming thank you! Happily recommend to friends and family.
It is a special piece of earth that is beautifully preserved. Attie and Marietjie are exceptional people who will share all their knowledge with you if you have the time. It's a super place!
Visited from 1 to 3 December 2018 In the Rocks 4 Two. We had no problems with anything. The accommodation is very safe, cosy, peaceful with beautiful, surprising scenery! We enjoyed the 12 km hiking trail! Thank you very much Attie and Marietjie for your absolute hospitality, we will definitely visit again!
Would recommend any person looking for a quiet weekend in the mountain to visit Bermanzi.

Many thanks to our host Attie for the kindness and the detailed information regarding the walking routes. We stayed in "In the rock for 2" and it really is a very special place for 2 people, with everything you could need. Everything very neat and with very good taste. The hiking trails are so clearly marked and so well maintained. It is truly a special nature experience and one feels so privileged to be able to experience it.
I will just say that they must make customers absolutely aware of it, only 4x4 vehicles. Road very bad if it rained.
The place has a lot of potential, but needs a lot of attention. The nature is beautiful.
We really enjoyed our time there. Very tranquil and we could enjoy each other's company.
The hospitality of the owners was amazing.
