Such a gem of a house with wonderfully quirky touches. The garden is like an oasis in the heat and our 5 dogs loved playing there!
We were two families travelling en route to the coast. The house was perfectly prepared and Tim made some good suggestions for in and around the town. We were very comfortable and made use of the braai facilities.
An artist made the house beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean, furnished in detail and the children and the dogs enjoyed the lovely garden. We will check in here again anytime. Thank you.

Very friendly host. Helped out with meals when everything was closed Sunday 5pm. Very interesting house full of memorabilia and personal items. Well appointed. The water pump makes a terrible noise right next to the master bedroom.

Tim went to great lengths to fit out the accommodation according to our needs. He also inquired after we checked in to see if everything was okay, which was much appreciated.
The open yard is a problem when dogs are traveling together. The other house's guests are not always happy with that.
It is very nice and tidy, everything you need is there. The bedding in the master bedroom just needs attention. I would love to stay there again. There is a nice playground for the children.

Had a great time in this interesting house - children enjoyed the fabulous DVD collection, the garden is beautiful and we had a good barbecue and rested before we started the long road again.

Wow! What an awesome surprise!! Beautiful house and garden. Bethulie Manor provides such a homely environment. We were 2 families and the house was spacious, the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfectly decorated, neat and clean! Bring a picnic basket, your favourite drinks and have lunch in the lush garden! Or use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare side dishes with your braai. I would highly recommend “Die ou kar” restaurant, which is walking distance from the house.
This is the owner's own holiday home, equipped with everything and anything to make his stay as comfortable as possible, extremely tasteful with lots of personal memorabilia and works of art and more. The house and garden have a lot of space and are ideal for more than one family and who want to rest and relax for a few days. One night is definitely too little. They also own another two houses on the same site which makes it ideal as a place to visit for a few families for a few days.
We were a tour group of 7 seniors and didn't feel cramped. The town's low water pressure wasn't a problem but the Tin Tin room's shower needs attention. Beds very comfortable and rooms spacious. Enjoyed the large kitchen table for meals. Strongly suggest removal of most of the ornaments especially in the Smurf bedroom as there is no space for personal items. Also the strange use of extension cables is a nightmare in the Smurf bedroom. Pleasant back garden with shady trees.
