Accommodation is offered at Betta Main Ground and Betta Mountain Camp. Betta Main Ground Chalets in natural stone, each room has its own en-suite shower and toilet with either twin or double bed configuration. Each chalet has a shaded patio with braai facilities and a seating area from where you can enjoy the sunset over the Namibian Desert. We provide a gas burner with basic kitchenette equipment.
Betta Mountain Camp is approximately 1.5km from the main ground, just across the gravel road. This site is designed to experience the scattered mountains that occur in the Namib Desert with no disturbance. This site is perfect for group tours to book out the entire place and have the whole “Lapa” area, swimming pool, and braai facilities exclusive to themselves.
At the mountain camp, we have 3 Luxury Camping Chalets as well as 2 basic campsites next to the pool. Betta Camp has a charming farm-style coffee and curio shop and a well-stocked kiosk with daily freshly baked goodies.

Lovely stay for romantic nights in the middle of nowhere. The staff is outstanding, polite, and helpful. You can enjoy back-to-basics cooking and braai or dine at the countryside restaurant. We loved having a braai with oryx meat and homemade buns/bread from the shop. For dessert, the muffins with coffee were delightful and very tasty.
Wasn't the first and the last time we stayed at Betta Camp. If we tour Namibia again and Betta is on our route, there is surely no other place where we will stop with our caravan. Staff were extremely helpful. Thank you very much, you can!
Have passed by a few times and refueled. The time was our first sleepover. The chalet was well equipped and with the water cooler you could keep the heat at bay.

No complaints about Betta, would just recommend they put a small fridge/freezer in each unit.
There may be a refrigerator in the unit. Power plugs between beds not in a comfortable place. Rooms are warm, maybe extra fans or air-con.

Beautiful affordable place to stay if you want to visit Sossusvlei as accommodation near Sossusvlei can be quite expensive.

The rooms are very nice and tidy. However, it's only suitable for a quick stopover, as there aren't really any attractions in the immediate area. No microwave or fridge or signal/WiFi. The donkey being fired was effective the first day, but the second day there was too little wood fired and the water was cold/lukewarm. The little shop was simple with few products. Ice cream, ice and 1.25 liters of water were sold out by the second day.
The kitchen was very uncomfortable at the bottom of a cupboard on the porch. Due to a very strong wind we could not put anything outside, there is no shelter from it. We would suggest you put it inside instead, maybe use the extra bathroom partly for that, the other bathroom is very large and actually adequate. A small fridge is also indispensable, difficult to make use of your facilities. Otherwise beautiful and the beds more than comfortable.
We spent 2 fantastic nights here. Will definitely come again. Thank you for the delicious dinner on short notice.
