We had been planning to camp, but as it was raining, we decided to check in to Betties Place. Everything was smooth, and we enjoyed being dry and having a kitchen. I have no hesitation in recommending Betties Place.
Bettie and John are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Their place is very neat and clean and you have everything you need.
We spent a lovely time there at their comfortable apartment. Their kindness and hospitality was top notch. We would go back again anytime. The secure parking behind an electric gate was very reassuring and they totally made us feel nice and private. It was truly a nice getaway.

Everything one could need is ready and available, good, strong internet connection, plenty of blankets and towels. Lovely accommodation, cozy and cosy, one is completely independent from the house owners, which is very welcome. Everything is super comfortable - exceptionally thoughtful host and hostess. I do offer a well-intentioned recommendation: All three of us had back pain after each of the three nights' sleep. An upgrade in the mattresses will push this star facility beyond top class. This is not intended as a fault-finding comment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The welcome was very warm. The place is beautiful. The facilities are very clean and usable. No noise, it was peaceful and tranquil.

Peaceful more than expected. I went to rest and that's exactly what I did get. I was completely on my own, had my own privacy. It was perfect.
John and Betty accommodated us at very short notice, and the flatlet at Betties Place was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Despite the close proximity to the main road and busy harbour area, it was extremely peaceful. Bonus points for the extra lights and a gas burner to use during loadshedding, a good shower, and safe parking.

I had a fantastic weekend full of laughter. The people are friendly.
Very neat and comfortable. The place is well situated and the hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome. They were also very accommodating towards our dogs, which was pre-arranged. We felt safe and our vehicle was parked close and also behind a secure, remote-controlled gate.
Betties Place is nice and spacious, very neat and clean with everything you need and a nice big fridge. The unit is also nice and private. There was also plenty of coffee and tea and a liter of milk in the fridge. We had a nice time.
Bettie and her husband are lovely people. They were so helpful and for me the cleanliness and the clean bedding was a five star experience. I can recommend anyone to stay there, they are lovely!

The shops are close, and there are many places to visit if you are going there for a family. The place my family and I liked the most was by the sea, there is a nice park where Kleinmond's people eat and hang out on Sunday afternoons.

Peaceful area and central.
The television channels are very limited.
The reception was hopeless, she complained that we spoiled her time in Betties Bay, even if it was a joke it was unsolicited. Toilet is so to speak in the kitchen. I asked her husband for a two point plug to charge our cell phones and he just said "wait until my wife comes" I was very upset, the husband, John, was walking up and down like a guard on Saturday night and throat cleaning while we sit by the fire. When we came down from the sea the man was startled by our arrival, Betsy did not introduce herself to us and neither did her husband. I introduced myself and my wife to her and her husband on different occasions. We felt very unwelcome, they were never seen, we only heard that there was someone in the main house. Never never never again, sis, all my money for Betsy for nothing.
It was only for one night and was worth it, great host and nice quick, short break from the city.
Such a cute cottage, friendly host. Its really great that one has separate entrance. Very affordable.

Bettie was a very generous hostess and even showed me where to find an eatery as we arrived on voting day and most restaurants were closed. Place was very clean, comfortable and had everything required for self-catering. I would definitely recommend it and would visit in the future.

We were three friends who got away for the weekend and Betties Place was lovely. The place is neat, clean and close to the sea and places to eat. There is a TV with a USB port too, so we could lie in the evening and watch a movie too, which is a bonus. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds sleep wonderfully. 10 out of 10!
The house is very clean and well-equipped. Very practical and private. Bettie was very pleasant and always willing to help. We enjoyed it a lot and will hopefully return for another stay.
