This room also features a pool table with windows looking out over the gardens to the sea and mountains.
The hotel also has a well-stocked bar named ‘Speakeasy Bar’ that is located on the lower level, where you can enjoy special cocktails, wine and tapas. Please book your tapas table before arrival or in the morning after breakfast, as space is limited.

Wow, it was very special to stay there. We felt like a prince and princess. I would love to do the "high tea" and picnic, definitely next time.

Wish we'd have had more time to discover Mossel Bay. But Betty's Boutique Hotel gave us a good taste of hospitality for the area and we enjoyed the short time we were there from the welcome drink on the patio overlooking the bay and the Royal Suite we stayed. Spacious and pretty. Breakfast is outstanding and very filling.

Old world with beautiful setting and nice rooms. The pub downstairs are so cosy and just right for a intimate social. The main stoep, which overlooks the bay, invites you for sundowners or high tea.
We were very warmly received with a welcome drink. The old-fashioned, English charm is overwhelming. The house has a lot of character and the decor matches it. The underground bar was a highlight for us and there you can really just relax and take in and appreciate the atmosphere. Most beautiful sea view! Dave's English breakfast is top notch. I can 100% recommend Betty's Boutique Hotel and on the contrary, if you haven't stayed there yet, you are missing out!

The beautiful old sandstone house is very nicely decorated in furniture from an earlier era. However, the finishes are modern and the bed deliciously soft with excellent bedding. The breakfast is very tasty and the hospitality is important to them. There is a picnic area, a swimming pool and snooker table. Despite that, it was very peaceful. I can highly recommend the I (Spa room).

The guest house is furnished in the old English style and is picture perfect. Dave made us feel very much at home by giving us a tour and telling us about the history behind the theme. Best guesthouse we have ever been to. It is a must stop there.
I'm a little late with my review, we only stayed in the Quirky room for one night in May. Our reception was very special, the host welcomed us very kindly and made us feel at home immediately. We were entertained with very interesting bits of information, taken on a short tour of the house and treated to a very nice glass of red wine as a welcome drink. Our room was a beautiful colorful room in the old building (1903 made of limestone), with lights hanging from the ceiling over the bed. It was really a special romantic room. The room had a double bed with very good quality white linen. There was an en-suite bathroom, with a large shower, sink and toilet. The room had a TV with DStv, as well as a tea/coffee station, the air conditioning was very nice for the cold evening which warmed the room wonderfully. The breakfast was amazing. It had been very, very nice. Breakfast was served on the large veranda overlooking a beautiful garden. Colorful tables were covered with fresh flowers and beautiful plates and cutlery were on the tables. You were spoiled with fresh fruit juice, a fruit plate with a variety of fruit on it as well as delicious yogurt, honey, and muesli with nuts, all served on the most beautiful plates and silverware to eat with. You could choose your main meal from a variety of options. My husband had the full English breakfast and I had the avo and egg. It was beautifully served, fresh and nice and warm. Delicious coffee ended our meal. We can recommend Betty's Boutique Hotel for excellent accommodation and breakfast. It is definitely value for money and we will definitely be going back again in the future. It was a very nice experience that will stay with us for a long time.

What an experience! Staying in a house that was built over a century ago. The owners are so friendly and helpful, from the short tour of the house and welcome drinks, to providing ample info on Mosselbaai attractions, restaurants and activities based on our requirements. The rooms are stylish and spacious, with antique furnishings and decor.

I had already paid the bill in full the Saturday before our stay and when we checked out on the Tuesday morning I was asked to pay. This is not acceptable.
Betty’s provides a beautiful breakaway, be it for 24 hours like us, or a week long stay. We lived in the beautifully decorated rooms, enjoyed the vintage elegance, the beautiful views from the stoep. Be sure to book a ride with their chauffeur service, that is something we look forward to next time!
Beautiful, modern and romantic room. We were surprised with champagne for our honeymoon. Having breakfast on the veranda, we had the most beautiful view over the sea. English breakfast was also nice and filling.

We were disappointed that there was no TV or air conditioning in the room and that the bathroom was not en suite. The room is cramped for 2 adults. The "old English" decor, view and "ambiance" of the old mansion was something to experience.
