It was nice and quiet and relaxing away from it all. Clean and tidy.

Wonderful to stay in a farm environment with great hosts who looked after us at every turn. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Large room with lots of space including a well equipped kitchen. Swimming pool in good condition and much needed in the heat.
The environment is peaceful, the personal attention was top notch. We were more than satisfied.

Ons is Nederlandse toeriste en ons het 21 dae door Suid Africa gereis. Ons was 2 dae by Bietjie Rus. Andrew en Sorita het baie goed gesorg. Helle adviese was baie goed en hulle het gesorg dat die safari in Addo Elephants Camp een sukses het gewees. Bietjie Rus is nie dicht by een stad nie. Maar vir aandetes daar is enkele restaurante die goed is. Bietjie Rus het ook een klein swembadjie. Baie danki vir Sorita en Andrew vir hulle gastvryheit. (Excuseer vir my waarskynlik slegte taal in Afrikaans. Dit lyk bietjieop Nederlands maar is niet heeltemaar dieselfde nie).
We enjoyed our stay with Sorita and Andrew, who both bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and at home. The accommodation was really good, with the cherry on the top being a couple of excellent braais and swims in their sparkling pool.

The hosts we very friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Very central, close to the Addo Elephant Park and other attractions.

Reception is warm, guests arrive as strangers, but leave again at the end of the stay as friends. The breakfast was deliciously prepared and the open veranda on which we enjoyed it adds to the special atmosphere because the tree-rich yard sounds like paradise with the birds frolicking in it early in the morning. The owners' knowledge of their surroundings adds to the special experience of staying there. The owners make an effort to think in advance of what the needs of guests might be and then meet them with a big smile and warmth, which makes the guests feel special. The German tourists who were also there were just as friendly and warmly received and entertained in fluent German.

Will definitely stay at Bietjie Rus again because you won't get friendlier and helpful service anywhere else. All of the facilities are clean and sufficient (even the pool).
