8 guests' feedbackWe had an amazing week at 37 Big Bay Beach Club. The accommodation had all the bells and whistles that we could hope for: a dishwasher, washing machine, good WiFi, a TV box, etc. The couches were comfy, and there was a nice dining nook overlooking the ocean. I must say, it probably has one of the most beautiful patios overlooking Table Mountain and the ocean in Cape Town. I can wholeheartedly recommend it, and we will definitely be back one day!
There were many areas where improvements are needed on this unit.
The unit has a beautiful view of the sea and Table Mountain. We went for long walks on the beach and took lots of photos. The large patio is for sure a strong point of the unit. I felt that the unit offered good value for money. If I could make one recommendation it would be to purchase a Netflix decoder for the unit. Basic subscription is only R99 per month. The WiFi is already there and the limited DStv was not enough to keep us busy on cold winter evenings. Luckily I was able to use my laptop computer for Netflix! I would definitely recommend Big Bay Beach Club to anyone looking to holiday in Blouberg.
The DStv package in the residential unit is boring, and I recommend that tenants bring their own DStv card (Primary package in particular) and activate it here. The residential unit uses pre-paid electricity. So make sure the letting agent has uploaded enough units to last for your duration of stay. It's a shame the place doesn't have a tumble dryer as it's been raining a lot and laundry is struggling to dry. There is plenty of space for hanging laundry in the bathroom and on the balcony, but the weather doesn't always cooperate. The washing machine and dishwasher is a winner. Everything one could need (kitchenware) is available in the living unit. The cleaning service (which you pay for with booking) is very efficient. Just make arrangements with them about a suitable day and time for you so that they can change bed linen and towels and clean the place. No worries about going missing, they are extremely friendly and reliable.
Big Bay Beach Club 37 I would really recommend for anyone who wants to relax with the sea in front of them. The agents were very helpful with the in and out of the apartment. It is 100 meters from the sea and boasts a beautiful view of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The apartment has everything you need for a nice getaway. My favourite part was the massive veranda where one can braai and be cosy with a glass of wine.

We had a really nice stay, didn't really have any issues. We were not there most of the time, because we were doing activities in and around the Cape every day. The mattress is well past its expiration date. There is a big dent in the middle of the mattress, so you roll towards the middle during the night and wake up with a very sore back. Which was especially bad because we were extremely active every day. The veranda is very nice with a nice view of the sea and Table Mountain and we spent most of our time at the apartment on the veranda. The sofas in the living room are also very nice if you happen to want to take a nap there. The mattress is the only reason we won't be going back to this place again.
The apartment needs a bit of attention. Patio tiles are broken and can lead to injuries. The lounge couches were dirty. Bathroom was full of hair from previous guests. View is beautiful and it is very safe and quiet.
