The hospitality was amazing. Accommodation was exactly how it looked in the pictures. We enjoyed the pool area while listening to music. We played snooker. Enjoyed the lovely scenery with the animals, pool and pond.
Amazing service from the staff, they really went above and beyond to help us have a good stay! My son had an absolute ball on their jungle gym, and the pool was designed with children in mind, with a very large shallow end.

Big Creek Lodge is very reasonably priced and bathrooms are very clean. A mirror or 2 in the campers' bathrooms would be a good idea, as well as toilet paper and trash cans in each toilet. The pool was ice cold so it will be nice in the bloody heat of summer, and the kids really enjoyed the climbing frame and play area. Unfortunately there was a case of theft from some of the campers on the Saturday evening. The chalet is very nice and well equipped, including an air conditioning system.
Very nice stay, thank you, but the sliding door was difficult to open and close. Bed was not really comfortable, a bit too hard.

Best holiday. It was our very first time in the NW province. We were stunned with the beauty of the Magaliesberge as well as the lodge. It was the most peaceful holiday ever. The lodge is top class and we couldn't ask for better service and hospitality. They went out of their way for us as well as all the other guests. You will definitely see us again. you are TOPS!
What a hidden gem so close to Johannesburg and Pretoria for a quick weekend away. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our site. All amenities in top order and the ablutions clean and modern. A variety of accommodation to satisfy all needs, especially for a large gathering of family and friends.

We had a beautiful stay. It was raining heavily, and it would really be appreciated if they built concrete/paved slabs on the camping stands and somewhat arranged water drainage from the tent areas, as the soil there is muddy, resulting in the camping areas being water swamped. Activities are very limited, but otherwise it was a beautiful stay.

It was nice and quiet. The units were very nice and clean on arrival. The people who received us were very friendly. The beds just creak incredibly when you turn over.
