27 guests' feedbackWe arrived when the flower season had started. The location is in a very safe area and a 5-minute drive from the West Coast National Park. We were kindly welcomed by Debbie and the apartment was very clean. Take note that there are no pots and pans; however, there is a microwave and air fryer present. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to others.
We had a very nice weekend. We wanted peace and quiet and that is what we got. Very nice set up - the place has what you need and very beautiful scenery. The garden is stunning. The host is very helpful and friendly - we felt right at home.

Debbie is just an amazing host, very friendly, easy to reach and always willing to help. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Great quiet location and it is very safe. I would highly recommend it.
Everything was beautifully clean and comfortable.
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The studio was very clean and smelled lovely. The style is modern minimalism which enlarges the space but still provides comfort. You are treated to a choice on the pillow and the owner is very attentive and accommodating. The shower is nice and big, although you have to put a towel down to catch spraying water as there is no shower door (it is the style of the shower). The kitchen has everything you need, even filter coffee as opposed to just instant, and they provide some rusks too - a nice touch! The area is quiet and the garden is well kept. It was perfect for us as we mostly spent our days out and about.

I would recommend Big Bay Lagoon to someone who is in the area for business, but not for a weekend getaway. There is a picture of the lagoon on the website advertising Big Bay lagoon which gives the impression that there is a view of the lake, but I felt a bit like I was in a prison with no view. I didn't feel special in this little place, it wasn't special, unfortunately.
Debbie and her husband were so friendly, and their hospitality was exceptional and appreciated. We enjoyed our stay at Big Bay Lagoon Studios very much. The communal braai area has a lot of memories. It's safe and not far from the beach. We will recommend it for anyone who would like to stay over for a holiday.

Our accommodation was clean, airy and comfortable. They even provided us with a lock up garage for our motorbike. Debbie and her husband were friendly and very helpful, especially when one of us became ill.
