Birch Tree is the guesthouse to stay at.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable clean and neat, but with heavy curtains and our room near the trees, I found it dark. Furniture a bit dated but acceptable. Pool was lovely. Breakfast great value for money. We were the only occupants at the time. As bedrooms are close together, the noise factor may be a bit challenging when all the rooms are full. Could also be problematic in summer as all rooms overlook the pool area.
Staff very friendly and more than helpful. They respond immediately to a request. The self-catering cottage's rooms are spacious with a lovely bathroom and equipped kitchen. Thank you very much, we can definitely recommend Birch Tree B&B.
We were received very kindly and completed paperwork in no time. During the cooking process, the oven's gas broke down and the bottle was quickly replaced. Thank you Birch Tree for your hospitality. Will definitely use you again.
Our accommodation was very nice and clean. Day visitors are allowed though, which I think being rushed out of bed late at night to move your car if people want out is not a good idea, especially if you have an early morning planned.

The only criticism I can make is that the guest house does not have a visible nameplate. The street numbers do not follow each other, so I searched quite a bit to find the guest house. The breakfast was well prepared and nicely served. The helpfulness of the lady who received me was kind and good.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Birch Tree Cottages. The self-catering room we received was beautiful. Good customer service and speed of service. They welcome us with smiles and we didn't feel neglected. We will definitely come back again.

Everything was neat and in order. Stayed there during the birth of our grandchild. We had a wonderful stay.
We had to attend a show at Monte Casino and decided to sleep over somewhere. We arrived late and irritated at Birch Tree B&B. The lady received us so kindly that we immediately felt calmer. She put us in the family room where we were originally only going to stay in a double room. The place is very neat and spacious and there is everything you need. The place's garden is also very beautiful. When we got back from the show I had a nice swim and afterwards my wife and I enjoyed a night cap outside. Saturday morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast although there was load shedding they made it as convenient as possible for us. All the ladies who work there are very friendly and all have smiles on their faces. The price is very reasonable and I would recommend the place to anyone. Thumbs up to all the ladies working there!
The rooms are neat and very spacious.
All it lacks are ceiling fans in the rooms. We stayed in the apartment. Very nice, neat and secluded.
It met our needs perfectly. Close to everything. Neatly established garden and crystal clear clean swimming pool for leisure. Top notch breakfast.

Birch Tree Cottage's self-catering unit is beautifully and very comfortably furnished. The staff were friendly, warm and very helpful. The facilities are well maintained and it was a pleasure to go home there. Breakfast was also well prepared and very affordable. I would recommend Birch Tree Cottage anytime.
I attended the FBI Chef School course for the week and Birch Tree Cottage is literally up the road. Classes ended very late every night and it was easy to get home that late.
Birch Tree has friendly staff who serve delicious breakfast! The garden is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. Parking is a bit tight for vans, but everyone could park on site. Definitely a good choice for accommodation! The cottage in particular is beautifully equipped with plenty of living space for large groups traveling together!
The people were very hospitable and friendly. We don't have the environment gifts and they went out of their way to order us food of our choice. The extra bed was made up for the children. Als was tidy and our breakfast was delicious and worth it. If I have to go that way again I will definitely book there again.
Esther and team were great from the get go. Comfortable and neat. Very close to Olivedale Hospital which made it convenient during visitation times, didn't experience any traffic problems whenever I visited the hospital.
We were satisfied with our stay - neat and clean with good customer service.
The room was very cramped, actually expected more than what we received, in the photos the rooms appear bigger and between trees etc. I would like to suggest that the staff turn off the corridor lights, it was shining through the slits of the door that we had to practice something with the towels and blanket that were there to prevent the light from shining through because it is very bright It helps a lot there are these sumptuous thick curtains in the room in front of the window to block the light from outside but you have light shining brightly through the closed room door.
The guesthouse is very close to where I did my evening classes but this week the guest house was fully booked. When I got home around 23:00 every night I was just able to park inside the premises. But I had to get up very early one morning to move my car as I parked someone in who had to go to Olivedale Mediclinic. The guest house is lovely, it is just the parking that is an issue when fully booked. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very clean. Staff is friendly and helped with big smiles even when booked in late. Very safe, the cottage is very private. Had everything we needed. Worth the money! Will surely use them again.
Esther, the hostess, was very helpful in every situation, whether I needed transportation or help with the internet, she was always available and with a joyful spirit.
