8 guests' feedbackWe booked accommodation for the Midmar Mile weekend far in advance knowing that it books up quickly. This was our first time staying on Kate and Brett's farm, and it was so delightful! Even better for us animal lovers, the adorable dogs, horses, cows and sheep were a major bonus, not to mention Ryan Gosling. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality! Spacious accommodation, well-equipped kitchen and unexpectedly beautiful surroundings.

Country feel. Wake up to farm sounds. Very neat place and hostess was very nice and helpful.
The farm atmosphere at this wonderful cottage is a plus. The hostess, her family and her dogs were welcoming and friendly. Extra touches like the Nespresso machine and rusks added to a feeling of home from home. Wood was supplied and a weber is on hand for braaing on the covered verandah. It is close to Pmb and the Meander and highly recommended as value for money.
Friendly hosts and the accommodation has everything that is needed.
Bedding had dog footprints on it and the sheets and towel were torn. Ice cold water.
We enjoyed the comfort of the place, but it was very frustrating to get out. The hostess was also very surprised to see us there, but she still went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Birnamwood Country Escape is definitely not the right name, we couldn't find a place at all, until the hostess helped us. It is under Dumsinani Estate. If the website and the customer can sort things out to facilitate the guests' arrival, then it is definitely a good place to sleep over.
