Beautiful view and a perfect location.
I asked Daria if she could arrange something special upon our arrival at the hotel for our wedding anniversary, she and the hotel management surprised us with beautiful roses, champagne, food and of course the beautiful view of Table Mountain. Thank you very much.

The staff at this hotel is absolutely outstanding! Customer service is wonderful and they are attentive, professional and very helpful. I am very, very impressed with the room, facilities, staff and of course, the breathtaking view. Unfortunately I am more than disappointed in the restaurant 'Waves'. Absolutely overpriced with blah food and a breakfast buffet that is absolutely below par. Whatever you do, do not order your breakfast as room service! The food is cold, unappetising and just not on the level that one would expect from such an exquisite hotel. Very disappointing. And of course, very disappointing that you cannot even make yourself a cuppa coffee or charge a cellphone during loadshedding. Surely for the price that is charged per night the hotel can invest in a proper generator?
The view was spectacular. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The Waves restaurant service was appalling.
Our room was made very romantic for our 17th anniversary which was a lovely touch. Thank you.
Shower doesn't have rubber on the bottom of shower door, so water ran through on the marble floors in the bathroom that you don't see. My wife slipped on wet tiles and fell very hard!

I booked for 4 people, there was 1 double bed and 1 single sofa bed. My son had to sleep with us on the double bed. There were only 2 towels, 2 cups etc. I am very disappointed in the website's handling of the situation. I was simply told that children should sleep together on a single bed. I'm done with the website.
We booked in at 14:15 and the room was not ready, had to wait another half hour. Reception then said we still owe over R500 even though we paid everything a month ago. Aircon in room worked, was out for dinner around 18h00 and only after 4 hours of struggling and fighting we could move to 22h00. They brought a portable aircon (also not working) and made us feel like we could sleep in a room without aircon and most of the windows could not be opened, only one small window so no air in the room. After a long fight and call my husband insists that they move us, then also a problem because apparently there is no open room and believe me the hotel was not busy. They then moved us from a sea view room on level 4 to a back room on the 1st floor overlooking Doodles Restaurant below the roof, A108. I would think with all the inconvenience all evening one would upgrade customers but well, not in Blaauwberg Hotel. Customer service absolutely pathetic. Would not recommend hotel at all. The food was really very pleasant and the staff in the restaurant very nice. I cannot say the same about the hotel's service, especially the staff on duty the night we checked in.

The hotel went to great lengths for my husband's birthday. There was a card and a birthday cake in our room.
My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted to celebrate, but not go too far from home because it was two weeknights. We had a great time staying in a room overlooking Table Mountain. The view is unbeatable. Eating places are so close and the walks on the beach were very nice. And of course falling asleep to the sound of the sea is a huge bonus.

We stayed over for 2 nights, of which a romantic turndown was also booked for the Saturday evening. On arrival on Friday, the romantic turndown was already in place. Without any problems it was also back in place for Saturday with an additional bottle of sparkling wine on the house. We would stay there again anytime, and would recommend it to everyone. The breakfast and coffee were also top quality.
We always feel important even if they have many guests. We have only good times in this accommodation and there are very reliable staff who clean the rooms, never lost anything.

We spent our honeymoon night Blaauwberg Beach Hotel and from the time we entered the parking area we were welcomed by the staff. The Staff in the lobby were kind, caring and so welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. They even went the extra mile to dress up the room for us for that special romantic touch. We will definitely be back.

Accommodation was top notch but booked with Table Mountain view for my honeymoon, when we got there we had Robben Island's view. When I made reservation they ask which view you want. Luckily the staff sorted it out.

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a horrible experience for us. Toilet smells. Even in parking basement. We had to make threats of full refunds if they do not move us to another better room and only then we got some assistance. Waves restaurant where we had breakfast only twice in our stay as they always ran out of certain items. Not for a 4 star hotel. Will not recommend to family and friends. We have send an email to the hotel and the response was basically they did us a favour in moving and upgrading us to another room? Yes we were upgraded but faced men hanging from ropes cleaning windows 07:00 in the morning. Our curtains open for the view.

I always try understand how some hotels you can only check in 2pm the afternoon but have to be out by 10am,. Besides that and that the shower head was broken, I found the the whole hotel spotless, location is some of the best in Cape Town and breakfast is a nice range of choices. Security is very good and parking is convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The shower seal was broken resulting in a soaking wet carpet in the room. The aircon did not work and the windows were dirty. The restaurant's prices are ridiculous and the food was really unappetizing and not at all visually stimulating. The breakfast was also devoid of any creativity. The bread that was served was old and the pastry was disappointing. The hot food could have offered more choices for the price and standard of the hotel.
Cups were dirty and not washed. In room dinner was served cold. Faucet at sink broken. Mats dirty. I had arranged in advance that my son would come along and sleep with us, no extra towel, no extra pillow. Room was cold. Air con not working. When we wanted to check out we were told that we had not paid the full bill. After my husband was shown evidence we were still not believed. And was late at the airport about it.
