8 guests' feedbackWhat an incredibly nice experience. The accommodation was fantastic and it felt like you were part of the field.
We really had a great weekend away. The hosts are amazing and super easy to communicate with. Wood and firelighters were organised through them, and they were quick with replies when you messaged. We had two toddlers with us and they loved every minute. The animals are very tame, and the donkey loves attention The house has everything you could think of and was in such a great state, very clean and organised. Really enjoyed the outside shower, and the pool is such a great addition although we didn't use it. Note: you don't see it in the pictures, but the bathroom has an interleading door into each bedroom. We were worried the bathroom was linked only to one room, but it isn't Would definitely recommend Black Impala to everyone, and we will be visiting again soon.
The stay was amazing, the exact tranquility that we needed in the bush away from the busy city life.
We had a wonderful stay, beautiful setting in the middle of the bush, an awesome refreshing splash pool, animals roaming around freely, kids loved it, beautiful sunsets. It got really hot in summer, but the ice machine and fans helped to cool down.
We had an amazing time at Black Impala. Just the place should you need a restful weekend away, the space was well-equipped and had all the comforts one would need.
The most phenomenal hidden gem. We had the most amazing experience and service. From spending the hot day in the pool, having all the animals surround us in the evening, and star gazing at night. The hosts are so welcoming, and the accommodation is so impressive. Everything you need is at your fingertips, and the attention to detail is outstanding! We can't wait to come back.
My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Black Impala. It was a lovely break. It's such a nice and peaceful atmosphere. The house has a cozy feel. It is very nice to look at the animals that pass by every now and then. We were very warmly welcomed and the communication with the owner was easy and accessible.
Located only 2 hours from Jozi, we found Black Impala to be the perfect spot for a weekend away. It's a wonderful balance between off-the-grid, farm-style charm and modern comfort. We also loved the extra little thoughtful touches like the ice machine, FieldBar, board games, stylish decor and Mungo throws. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time between the boma and reservoir-style pool, and were often visited by friendly Nyala, Impala and Nguni cows. The owners were great with communication, friendly and super helpful.
