What a pleasant surprise. The best location on the beach, neat accommodation and safe and quiet. Don't shout or make noise. We will definitely go back there again and simply take the whole family with us.
We checked in quite late but the host still welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness. It's a home away from home, with amazing views. Above all, it was super clean and I loved it. Would definitely be coming back here again!

Man, wish we were still there. It really is a piece of Haven with the most beautiful garden and sea view at the mouth of the river. You don't have to drive anywhere, everything you need is right there. Our hostess is the best we have ever had and so accommodating. She will go out of her way to help you with anything. Our stay was very short but we got more rest than we ever hoped for.

The time there was breathtakingly fantastic. The stay far exceeded my expectations and they were all so hospitable. The gardens are so beautiful that you want to linger there with a short walk to the beautiful open and quiet beach. It is perfectly located and you don't hear any cars or people, the perfect place away from it all so that you can soak in the sound of the sea. This is for sure my first choice for accommodation on the South Coast.
Everything was perfect except the weather, but that was fate. Besides that, nothing could put a damper on our stay. Jacqui, Guy, Dad, and the animals were the perfect hosts and were accommodating while leaving you to your own devices. The scenery is breathtaking. A walk onto the private beach is a must for solitude and quiet contemplation. The unit itself had everything that we needed, and the beds, oh my word! I have never slept so well. Do yourself a favor, if you are heading down that way, stay at Black Rock Haven.
It is truly a nice place to stay. I would recommend it to people who want to experience the tranquility of nature. Close to the beach and yet close enough to shops if you need anything.
The veranda has a beautiful view of the lagoon and sea. We enjoyed rowing in the lagoon so much! The unit had everything we needed and was in such good condition. We will come again!

We had the best experience with Black Rock Haven. We couldn't have asked for a better home for our stay. The unit we stayed in exceeded our expectations, the grounds are beautiful and the hosts are amazing. It was peaceful and quiet and homey. We really enjoyed the fact that the kids could play in the garden if they wanted to. The direct access to the beach and river was a huge plus. We will be back very soon!
Wonderful place, Jackie and Guy go out of their way to make you feel at home, nice clean, lots of air, nice view of river and sea, wonderful garden, modern and comfortable unit, everything you need just 1 km away in town . Very quiet and close to a beautiful beach.
Our family loved the stay at Black Rock Haven. It was tranquil with the beach a stone's throw away. Jacky always went to the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and our stay was comfortable. We will definitely be back.
Can happily recommend Black Rock Haven. The tiun and view over the sea is exceptionally beautiful. The beach is beautiful with a large beach shore to work in a solid walk. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Will return again. Enjoyed it a lot.

Access to the premises freely allowed by the owner and we were able to have a good time with my son and his family. Jackie was always ready to go the extra mile for us. Will definitely stay there again.
There is no view, but there is a private shelter with braai facilities at ground level (without a dustbin). Just sorry about the stairs climb if you need something.

Our stay was amazing, we felt so welcome and the unit was so beautiful and comfortable. (The beds were super comfortable!) The balcony had lovely views and the beach access was a nice addition. The garden was also so beautiful. I highly recommend going here if you want above-and-beyond service. So glad to have found this hidden gem!

We enjoyed it so much, neat, private, safe, close to everything, only slept there for two nights, wish we could have longer, will definitely visit there again. Everything you need to rest and relax.
Would stay at Black Rock Haven again anytime. The accommodation was perfect, we lacked nothing. It's very clean and tidy and the people are very friendly and welcoming.
Jackie and Guy are very hospitable, always want to know if everything is alright, just ask for anything short. Plekkie is really top, clean and everything works, the lapa they added for the unit works well, now you have a sea view from the lapa.
Nice secluded venue on the beach quite and tranquil.
