The only thing I would change is to have the full DStv package. We were unable to watch the Springbok rugby game or the F1 GP.

Jan is an outstanding host. The cottage is extremely comfortable, with its own private courtyard/pool area. There are many delightful extras included in the price - a bottle of wine on arrival, fruit, local coffee, home-made rusks, chocolates by the bed. The location is perfect - a short walk into Franschhoek with many excellent restaurants to choose from.

We had a wonderful stay at Bleu Cobalt Cottage. Jan, our host, received us warmly and provided us with various recommendations and maps. The location of our accommodation was a short walk to the Franschhoek Village, with a choice of several restaurants and during our stay it was the Bastille Festival, which added to the festivities. We would recommend Bleu Cobalt Cottage to anyone looking for 5 star service and 5 star accommodation. We will definitely visit again and recommend to our family and friends.

Jan was wonderful and nothing was too much for him. He did so much extra, from a bottle of wine to special chocolates, names of restaurants and other nice things to do in the area. The place was very neat and comfortable with everything you could need. Definitely a place that can be recommended and walking distance to many places!

Bleu Cobalt is absolutely perfectly located for a visit to Franschoek and surroundings; with the restaurants, market and shops within walking distance. The unit is very well planned, incredibly neat, and the pool a big plus. Jan is the perfect host, with lots of knowledge about wine farms and other attractions. Definitely highly recommended.
Jan was the most incredible host. Our every need was preempted and some we didn't even know we had. The place was amazing! Tranquil and spotless. The attention to detail and effort put in to making us feel comfortable and relaxed was truly astounding. Out of 10 he gets 15!

The unit is excellent and the host delivered the best customer service we received in a long time. He offered advice regarding the best places to eat and gave us the phone numbers. Each night the beds were neatly made with flowers and chocolates. The unit is also very neat and clean - it was just a pleasure to stay at Bleu Cobalt. We will definitely be back.
It's not just Blue Cobalt's location and the fact that everything inside and outside the accommodation is perfection, which makes it the perfect place. It's also the fact that Jan carries every guest on his hands! He goes out of his way to pamper everyone and make them feel special. He recommends restaurants, buys birthday presents, lights romantic candles - if you can think of it, Jan has already done it! By the nature of the matter, we didn't want the weekend to end at all. It was great!

The getaway was just what we needed and it was great. The cottage is within walking distance of most restaurants and shops, has a private pool, is very neat and clean and Jan, the host, can't wait to spoil his guests! We would love to stay there again.

Very neat unit and owner is very helpful and makes sure your stay is comfortable. They go to great lengths and bottled water, milk, tea and coffee are standard. My wife and I really can't complain about anything and compared to other guesthouses and self-catering accommodation they stand out by far.

The cottage is really very neatly prepared and maintained for guests. The host is very helpful and can give good recommendations on what places to visit in and around town. All the necessary amenities are inside the cottage for a short break from the city. The main street with all the eateries and shops is within walking distance so don't forget your walking shoes!

Jan is an engaging host and takes good care of his guests. The apartment is neat and excellently equipped with attention paid to the smallest detail. It's safe with an alarm that you can set when you go out and it's wonderfully located opposite the town centre, so all the entertainment and shops are within walking distance.
