The Somerset West Blue Crane Guest House offers comfortable accommodation in the Cape Winelands, ideal for both the business and leisure traveller. The guest house is owner-managed by a husband and wife team, Brigitte and Werner Pagels, and has been in operation since March 2004. Blue Crane Guest House is situated in the peaceful and secure Parel Vallei residential area, and is located within close proximity to some of the best vineyards, including the well-known Vergelegen Estate and Blaauwklippen Winery.

Accommodation is offered in 6 furnished, double en-suite bedrooms all with separate entrances, and each room is equipped with modern air-conditioning units for heating and cooling, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The tastefully decorated rooms are also equipped with TV’s with cable TV including 4 pre-selected satellite channels, hairdryers, small safes, and kitchenettes with microwaves, bar fridges, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There are 2 rooms with cooking facilities. The rooms are furnished with extra-length king-size beds; twin beds are available on request. Off-street parking is provided, and guests have exclusive use of the garden, swimming pool, and covered pool patio with braai facilities.

The guest rooms also have comfortable seating, and their own private garden patio with a table and chairs, offering guests an exclusive outdoor living area. There are demarcated smoking areas, as smoking inside the rooms is strictly forbidden.
