I really thought the price paid for the room for me and my two teenage boys was perfect for the one night we stayed there, wish we could of stayed a night or two longer and would of stayed with them, but had to get back to Gauteng for work. Breakfast provided the next morning was a good portion and more than sufficient.
Own free entrance, neat and elegant apartment, good service, close to the center.
Very nice stay. The breakfast was awesome. The room had everything you need for a holiday stay. I would recommend that a gate be installed leading to the parking area, though.
Accommodation is clean and tidy. We enjoyed our walks around the lake in the afternoons.
I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommendable.
The location is a problem in that directions are lacking. Without a GPS it is very difficult to find the place. Otherwise 5/5 in all respects.
I have enjoyed the stay. Bucket was visible in kitchen but no cleaning products. I don't expect to go and buy cleaning stuff to keep floor and bathroom clean. Dust on floors and could not walk barefoot. That is what I want to do while on holiday. Only thing that was changed in 8 days was one single bed's bedding and the bin. Even the little bit of Doom in kitchen has disappeared.
Load shedding was an issue but not for the Blue Fern. A small gas cylinder to warm up water in the morning to have tea would have been very nice.

Clean and tidy accommodation that goes together with lovely tree-rich surroundings. Would just love to have DStv channels available. Excellent service, definitely value for money.
Very friendly hosts, I would definitely be going back there next year. The rooms are big with own little patio, fridge and bathroom. The rooms are cleaned everyday and left for you like the day you arrived.
We were welcomed by Steven and Christa and guided to our room and received great service from them. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and tidy. The morning breakfast was very nice and sufficient. We wil definitely use this accommodation again and will also recommend it to other people.
Blue Fern went out of their way to make us feel welcome and also happily granted additional requests from us. If we stay in Knysna again it will only be at Blue Fern or Knysna.
Will definitely be visiting them again. Thanks so much.
Was very nice and peaceful. Would prefer that there was a gate at car driveway. Cars are standing open, there is no gate. Had trouble finding a place, the directions on the map are wrong on google maps, and the place shown in the photos is not the same as where we stayed.
