17 guests' feedbackIt was so peaceful, and it was the best getaway away from the city. Lizette put in a lot of effort and was extremely helpful. The cottage was very cutely furnished and we will definitely be back. Would recommend this place to anyone who just wants to enjoy a quiet weekend.
An extra room would be fantastic so that we can add perhaps 2 more people to the group for activities, such as playing cards or dominoes etc. seeing that there is no TV which I love by the way.
Would definitely recommend staying on the farm. Conveniently located and very comfortable. Lizette the host, was warm and welcoming and so hospitable.
What an experience to be able to stay here. A working farm but a stay that will never be forgotten. Lizette was so incredibly professional and just couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Our first time in the Overberg and what an experience. There are still people who care and make you feel like family. Thank you so much Lizette for your hospitality, kindness and humanity. We had such a nice stay on the farm and will come back soon.
Amazing place to stay with everything you need for a weekend away from home. An incredible view, delicious stoep with wood and freshly baked biscuits on sale. We would like to visit there again. Fantastic and friendly hostess to top it all off!
It's a fantastic getaway, with only the tranquility of nature around you. The cottage is small, but very well equipped and ideal for 2 small families. The setting is picturesque, with a location overlooking the barley fields. Access to the farm is very easy. There is a camp with sheep and chickens at the owners' house, which is very cute for small children. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere, with not much to do, I would definitely highly recommend this cute place! To get away and rest one could not ask for better.
The beds' mattresses are very thin.
The farm is beautiful and the surrounding areas have plenty to do.

Beautiful cottage on a working farm. High standard finishing and very clean. Owner Lizette very friendly and helpful, including detailed driving directions to get there. We got the freshest possible eggs, delicious.
This special place offers you a very affordable and stunning, also very comfortable breakaway with views that you will remember for a life time. The hospitality from the owners and involvement regarding your arrival is outstanding, even the farm dogs will greet you on arrival. Truly a place for relaxation.

Lizette is a considerate and friendly hostess. Our place was beautifully furnished. In the kitchen, eggs for breakfast were waiting in the fridge, as well as a mug of fresh milk and a container full of home-baked biscuits. Now that's farm spoiling at its best!
Overall, we were very happy with what the cottage has to offer and consider it good value for money. It was clean and tidy and little things like braai wood, milk and sugar, biscuits, etc. and a warm welcome made us feel very welcome. One has the option of using an indoor or outdoor barbecue. We and our guests from Germany were also very pleased with the view of the freshly harvested golden wheat fields and the silence. We were given good directions before we left and were therefore able to find the farm quite easily. We can recommend it for sure.
Beds were quite hard.
You are welcomed with the sight of the most beautiful and clean place. Equipped with everything you need. Hospitality is excellent. Fantastic experience.
