The entrance to Blue Horizon is on the first floor where guests will be greeted by an authentic open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area overlooking the breathtaking ocean. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
The lounge has a fireplace and comfortable couches as well as a TV with selected DStv channels. The dining area is furnished with ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access.
The first floor hosts a large main bedroom with spectacular sea views from the comfort of a king-size bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The upper floor also has a guest toilet. Downstairs, there are 3 bedrooms all boasting fantastic ocean views and private decks. The first bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds. The second bedroom has a double and a single bed, and the third bedroom has a double bed. Guests will also find 3 bathrooms on the lower level, 2 with a shower and toilet and 1 guest toilet.
There are 2 lovely braai facilities available for guests’ use as well as a Weber on the deck during their stay.
The beach is a short walk away where guests can also explore the rock pools and dunes. The ocean views from each room are spectacular and guests might even spot a school of dolphins splashing about in the surf while gazing out of the window.

We didn't want to leave. Absolutely wonderful stay! We didn't mind the rainy days because the views were stunning from each and every room. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. The hostess was also a wonderful host. We cannot wait to go back!

The house is excellently equipped with everything you can think of. The house was very neat and clean. The "inverter" makes it very convenient and load shedding never bothered us. The table tennis court was a winner and provided hours of entertainment for us all. Eerste River Beach is one of the few places in our country where you feel so safe, you can kick off your shoes, enjoy the incredibly beautiful view and relax. Franette was very helpful, the check-in was without any pains. We can recommend Blue Horizon.
Blue Horizon, was one of the best accommodations nationally and internationally we have stayed in. Lots of love and thought went into the design, decor, and needs of the clients.
We were with family and friends. Blue Horizon was the ideal place for 8 people. Beautiful place with the most beautiful view of the sea and waves and the most beautiful sunrise and sunset. We had a great time. The only shortcoming is that the place is not fully equipped for loadshedding. There was not always water available during loadshedding and there is also a lack of a decent stove and a boiler. Was still worth the effort and money. Will definitely go again.

This house has spectacular sea views - from the living areas as well as from every bedroom. The house is clean, well maintained and is well equipped with everything that one needs. The living areas and all the bedrooms have an outside verandah space. The two boma areas with sea views are an added bonus. We will definitely be visiting Blue Horizon again.
The place is stunning. Perfect views. Clean. Warm. Beds were comfy. Absolutely impressive.

Don't think you can live closer to the sea!
Blue Horizon is even more beautiful than in the photos! It was fantastic to stay so above the rocks and see only sea everywhere you look. The house is wonderfully equipped with everything you might need for an unforgettable holiday. The only thing that was a bit frustrating at times was all the flies, but we will definitely come again!
The best accommodation you can get with the most beautiful sea views! BH was great before all the changes, but even better now. Couldn't ask for anything more!
