The reception and staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean, the view absolutely fantastic. Overall overview, it was peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely book with Blue Marlin again.

The facilities of the hotel met all our needs. We had a wonderful rest. It's the ideal accommodation that offers everything a holidaymaker would want. Our weather wasn't great, but we had such a good time that we didn't even leave the hotel.

The staff was always friendly. Even though I had them mad about my bill it was still sorted out very professionally. I definitely recommend the Blue Marlin to someone who needs a very peaceful vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed the service, entertainment, accommodation, hospitality, food and everything. I will visit Blue Marlin every year with our sea vacation. Beach within walking distance, great entertainment for young and old at the hotel, all the facilities are clean and tidy, friendly service and the food is delicious. All this at affordable rates. Thank you Hilda for the lovely stay and smile.

Very nice hotel for a family holiday.
The hotel has almost been redone. We were in a brand new wheelchair accessible room as I am in one. The hotel is very comfortable and is also very accessible for someone in a wheelchair - even a special wheelchair lift has been installed. However, the lawn is very uneven for wheelchairs and the like and the pool itself is not accessible due to stairs. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Meals are top notch and good entertainment for family and children. Also felt at home as an African family. It was a special experience to stay here and we would love to do it again.
In the bathrooms, they really could have done better planning on the shower part! The whole bathroom is flooded if you open the shower too big! And secondly, the fridge that keeps turning off when you leave the room! The lamps next to the bed do not work. The roof fan is colder than the air conditioning. We requested room service 2 times and they show up at the room with the wrong stuff. The woman from the room service doesn't even understand when you ask for extra coffee. She brings a teaspoon instead of coffee! Parking has also been a problem. If the hotel is busy over December months they could really put more umbrellas and lounge chairs outside at the pool area. If you sleep a little late, which you like to do when you are on vacation, you can forget to get a seat at the pool area. Breakfast was fantastic. When booking your holiday in December, can someone really ask you if you want to eat there on Christmas Day or not? Now you're there on Christmas Day expecting a nice meal, then you're told it's fully booked! Really! It's pathetic. The staff at reception could also learn to welcome people better. A smile is appreciated. I really think your hotel could learn a few things from Pretoria's hotels. And certain people would also like to enjoy a nap, but then that DJ at the pool starts playing so loud. Surely he can do it after 3 and not between 12 and 2pm. That's just my opinion.
