The Blue Roof Bungalow is located in a beautiful mountainous area with breathtaking views. It is private and separate. It is ideal for a cosy, romantic couples getaway. The cinema room is fantastic. The bedroom's colour changing light sets a romantic mood. The apartment is cosy and intimate. However, their self-catering facilities are not up to standard e.g no stove to cook.
The owner Peter was super friendly and chilled. My husband and I wasted no time connecting to the WiFi and jamming out to music in the cinema room (no complaints from the owner about music being too loud). Cinema room is very cosy, we hooked up the heater, sipped on the complementary champagne, popped the popcorn (thanks to Peter and Isobel) watched Netflix and chilled.Outside was clean, loved the attention to detail of the stones actually. The pink ones are beautiful. The little string lights added a nice touch outside, very romantic and perfect for celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. Bedding was clean, comfy and warm. The kitchenette space was a tad bit small. Very awkward for preparing meals but it was equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had no stove but that didn't bother us really, we prefer to bbq. Was bummed that we couldn't make use of the pool as shown in the pictures but it's okay, the weather didn't work in our favour. All in all I loved staying there and will highly recommended it. Thank you for having us.
