The accommodation comprises 2 Houses, 2 Cottages, 2 Rondavels and 4 rooms. Each beautifully appointed room has an en-suite bathroom, minibar, tea- and coffee-making facilities. Scrumptious breakfasts are included and 3-course candlelight dinners under the stars are an optional extra.
On chilly nights, guests can also enjoy the mesmerizing flames and warmth of a wood fire in our traditional African boma. Enjoy sundowners at the pool or a picnic on the lawn. Nyala roams freely on the lush, green grass and guests are often lucky enough to see hippos and crocodiles from the vantage point of their rooms. Self-catering guests are welcome to book breakfast and dinners with us too.
The lodge is situated on a private game reserve so guests can also enjoy lovely walks in the bush, where they may encounter Giraffe, Zebra, Ostrich, Nyala, Impala, Wildebeest, Bushbuck, Duiker, Steenbuck, Waterbuck, Bushpig and Warthog. The flora of the area attracts many amazing birds so this is a wonderful retreat for bird enthusiasts.

The game reserve welcomed us with zebra en giraffes. The park was zo peaceful, beautiful. Nyalas and the peacocks waves these tails. Good food, very very relaxed surroundings. Wish to come back asap!
No request was refused, two fantastic ladies at reception. All bad feedback is that the road to the lodge is very rough and full of stones. The car was damaged after the visit, not for low cars.
Good service, was able to change rooms without any problems/costs. Very tasty breakfast and dinner.
The friendliness of the staff, comparability of the rooms and delicious food makes it an unforgettable experience next to the Blyde River.
