There was everything in the room that was advertised, but also so much more. Welcome drinks, as well as a heater in the room for the cold that was in the Cape at the weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day stay at Bodega Fuchs. Mandi has set up a very comfortable unit providing all essentials as well as treats. Lamps and extra bedding kept us comfortable during loadshedding.
Our host Mandi was a superhostess. She was always available if we needed anything. Even when we had loadshedding she advised us the afternoon and had lamps charged for us etc. The flat was clean and well equipped with personal touches like breakfast goodies, snacks, sherry for the cold night etc Bodega is a must visit. Mandi, Marius and Willow made our stay very special. Bodega Fuchs is an Oasis of delight in South Africa. The little extra touches are special and thoughtful, from the amenities in the bathroom to the hot cross buns in the kitchen, special for Easter. A fully equipped apartment well stocked with all you need. Fantastic hospitality, nothing is too much trouble. Looking forward to returning soon.

We had a wonderful week at Bodega Fuchs. Mandi & Martinus are lovely hosts, and definitely go the extra mile. They provided unexpected treats, like a fruit bowl, hot chocolate, coffee (instant & pods), tea, rusks, eggs as well as a fridge stocked with yoghurt, cheese, marmalade, peanut butter and milk. There was also a decanter of Sherry to enjoy. A tastefully furnished apartment, a very comfortable bed with quality linen & towels. This is the perfect romantic hideout for two and we can't wait to go back.
My daughter and I with our four-legged child had a wonderful stay at Bodega Fuchs. Mandi was very friendly and very helpful with anything we would need. There was yogurt to fruit and eggs and bread and jams available for breakfast. The place is beautiful and deliciously warm and we really had a good time. The WiFi helped that at least we could stream movies in the evening with the rain that fell. We had a great time and would recommend it to other people. Thank you very much, we all enjoyed the stay there!
Next time I will ask whether there is a short cut path down to the sea.
There are only two things that are important to me when I go away: can I go for a walk easily and can I enjoy reading. I have never been in a place where I enjoyed reading as much as Bodega Fuchs. The furniture is extremely comfortable to sit in and lay on, and the carpets on the floor, the attention given to the smallest details, the colors of the walls, the beautiful accessories, plants, books and magazines have without a doubt made for me the best place on the website yet. One can read with the door open while a cool breeze blows through the room and look up and see only green. It's incredibly calming. And everything is there that one needs (unless you plan to cook big, but we weren't), and more. Mandi left us eggs, milk, bread, a beautiful bowl of fruit, and other nice things. We had a great stay and we will stay there again if we are in the area again. Thank you so much for everything, Mandi!

Dit was beautiful en die foto doen die plek nie justice nie. Al die klein, fyn details en ekstra goedjies om jou tuis te laat voel. Jy hoef letterlik net jou klere en kos te bring, als anders is daar. Van games tot 'n kaart van waar wat is in die area. Een woord - Amazing! Baie dankie dat ons daar kon bly. Absolute piece of heaven on earth in a quiet neighborhood. One can rest and relax at Bodega Fuchs. Beautiful and neat, well equipped room with absolutely everything needed. We were delightfully spoiled by Mandi. Will definitely go again and recommend to other travelers.
Apart from the parking which was difficult with the wet weather, there was nothing to complain about at Bodega Fuchs. Everything was in its place, there was food and drink, which was not expected, and in the morning with load shedding I got a flask with boiling water for coffee. There is hardly a nicer place to stay in Struisbaai and the hospitality only made it better.

I would definitely recommend Bodega Fuchs. It's residential unit is very neat and clean and the surroundings and view are beautiful. The owners give so much more than you normally expect from a self-catering place, with all kinds of nice extras in the kitchen. I can also compliment the artistic layout of the unit.
Mandi is a wonderful hostess who immediately makes you feel at home and comfortable. The accommodation is neat, clean and tidy with everything that may be needed during a visit there. The tranquility at Bodega Fuchs is irreplaceable and priceless, yet you are within a short distance of places to eat, shops and attractions. As a keen hiker, the hostess also made all information available about all the hiking spots as well as the comfort and safety of the hiking routes. Feel free to go and enjoy Bodega Fuchs' wonderful accommodation. The whales are a bonus.

An incredibly beautiful place with tasteful and artistic decor. Also extras and delicious breakfast. The breakfast was more than we could eat and a great variety to suit everyone's taste. The view over the sea was fantastic. The environment is peaceful and safe. Aunt Mandi and uncle Marius are incredibly nice people with whom you can talk comfortably. The unit has more than you need in it. The place was definitely one of our favourites. If we have to stay in the Struisbaai/Aghulas area again we will stay there again. I think what was a big plus for me was the flip file with map and also a list of restaurants and activities in the area.

Mandi is an excellent hostess but everything was already in place - the place is artistically decorated, even fresh orchids! Breakfast ingredients were a delicious treat, so we could have a delicious breakfast, eat and then start the day. Definitely my place to sleep again.

This is not your average B+B.... beautiful interior (very artistic) -makes you feels so special!, crisp white linen on king size bed , WITH AN ELECTRIC BLANKET :) when the evening chill moves in from stunning blue ocean..! Little unexpected spoils in the fridge etc etc and best of all our little miniature Dachshund, Nino was treated like royalty! Our 4x4 vehicle loaded with fridge and roof rack overnight in lock up facility adjacent to our room! The hostess and her husband are relaxed people-people - highly recommended!! We will return no doubt
I booked a weekend break for my wife's birthday, we hit the jackpot! Other reviews mention extras, they true. Would definitely not stay anywhere else in Struisbaai or Agulhas.
I would recommend Bodega Fuchs Guesthouse to anyone. Will also sleep there again if necessary. Such a beautiful view and quiet. Loving, hospitable people who like to pamper their guests.

Spacious, private and tastefully decorated unit. The bed is large and very comfortable, kitchen is very small but has everything to prepare something quickly and easily. The bathroom is spacious, new and neat. The decor is beautiful and of very high quality.
