Fantastic overnight accommodation and we would stay even longer. Our host received us kindly and we were given safe parking on the premises. Walking distance to shops. Would prefer a door to toilet instead of a curtain for more privacy, but for a couple it's not really a big problem. Everything we needed was available in the accommodation.

A novel stay in a small converted fish and chips shop called Tjippie in the business zone. But it was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for self-catering and is only a five-minute walk to the sea. Next time we'll probably book the more spacious upstairs flat (Blommetjie) which has a sea view.
Location of unit does not show well in area that appears run down with poor views. Unit is comfortable, neat and clean with older type furniture and equipment. Smell from island where Cape Gannets breed is very unpleasant. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Place was stuffy, beds outdated, rooms small, would have loved locks on the doors. Towels didn't smell nice. The ladies' bathroom has a door, but not for the shower, so water everywhere. No holders for washcloths and soap.

Stay for at least a week! We wanted to remain at Bokkomblommetjie for at least another week, what a lovely ambiance and feeling of "at the sea" we experienced there. That is the place for a honeymoon couple, we absolutely loved spending part of our wedding anniversary there! We will definitely be back!

Gokkomblommetjie is nice and big and cool. There is plenty of sleeping space and lots of space for everyone. It is clean, safe, close to the sea and shops. It is very comfortable and the owners are friendly. Will definitely go again!
The visit was great! The owner is very nice, I will definitely come again. Some of the beds can be replaced, they have served their purpose. A sharp knife would have been fine. Some of the shower doors do not close. Again, thank you very much, the reception was good!
Suggest a rechargeable light as there was no light during loadshedding. Secure parking is unavailable unless prearranged with neighbour. Restricted access if you need your car. Spare blanket was very smelly so we couldn't use it. Unit is quite cold.

The whole process was simple and the price very affordable.
We stayed in the upper unit. Plekkie has a partial sea view, so we could see whales' spouts and the waves breaking in the distance. Unit is very well equipped with everything we needed, was spotless, and because it is located between other shops, very central, so we could walk almost everywhere. Our shop neighbors were quiet and didn't bother us at all. What we appreciated: comfortable beds with good linen, extra warm blankets, hot water bags, the nice big shower head, and that there were no problems with water pressure or hot water, the wifi, the realistic amount of coffee facilities and milk, the delicious biscuits, and welcome chocolates on our beds. The owners were lovely, know their area well, and lent us board games, which our children really enjoyed. Unfortunately, parking is on the street, but we didn't miss anything, and the owner offered us other, safe parking in other nearby lots.

The specific unit offers sufficient space, comfortable bed, new amenities and accessories. The unit still needs final finishing touches, but owner is in process. A bit noisy, because bottle store right next door.
We only stayed there one night which was enough. The owners who stayed next to us made a lot of noise. If you're looking for tranquility, I can't recommend the place, unfortunately. The crockery had to be washed before we could use it.
Bed in master bedroom needs replacing, not parking for vehicle - Chinese liquor store right next to accommodation and mechanic behind - dogs barking all night.
We arrived in Lamberts Bay in an unexpected rainstorm. My husband went in to check in. The person who received him went from his apartment to the apartment we booked. There he went inside the apartment and left my husband outside in the pouring rain because "he doesn't want to get the floors wet". Really not good customer service. Furthermore, the tiles were slippery and soaking wet and it was really dangerous for someone to carry luggage up and also for elderly people who already struggle with stairs. Even the owner warned that the stairs are very slippery. A further problem was parking outside on the street - and although people (according to a previous reply to a review) might not steal there, the risk remains yours. He suggested parking available after 8 in the evening. Unfortunately, the website could not help because the stairs were visible in the photo. However, it does not indicate the correct amount of stairs and how slippery they were.
The location is perfect and the facilities very clean, new and tidy. The linen simply smells fresh, clean and is very cuddly. It's a very cool concept and reminds me of the cool 'capsule' accommodation concept in Asia. The showers are deliciously hot and the water pressure is fantastic. The chocolate on the bed is very cute. Thank you for your hospitality.
