Our stay at Bokkoms was particularly restful and comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming of us and our 2 dogs. Our guest with us was very pleased with the quiet and comfort before heading back to her busy home city.
Very neat, tidy, spacious unit. Everything needed in the unit with "backup" for power is a big bonus. Amanda and Alvin are very hospitable and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Can recommend Bokkoms Guest Flat with great confidence. 10 out of 10!

Amanda and her husband's hospitality will stay with us. They went to great lengths to ensure the 4-footer did not escape. Nice spacious house walking distance from the sea. Comfortable beds and fantastic bedding. Love the detail of the showers.

Access to the units are difficult for guest with disabilities.
Although you share one entrance with the owners, you never feel uncomfortable. It's very private. The kitchen and living area sit at the front, followed by two rooms that both lead to the outside area where the braai is. The apartment is comfortable for four adults and two children. It also contains everything one could need. You literally only need to take food and clothes with you. There are so many nice restaurants with very affordable prices, so food is also optional. In winter, the two fireplaces in the rooms will be a big "treat". There is a nice path that leads to the sea and the location of the house is in a quiet part.

A very relaxing and rest full week. Enjoyed the walks on the beach. A cosy and warm atmosphere in the cottage. All basic amenities provided even battery operated lights for load shedding made available. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic break at Bokkoms, but will not recommend to couples with small children. The stairs are not child friendly and we were very worried the whole time the children are to noisy and we had to keep them quiet the whole time.

Unforgettable time spent in Paternoster!
We had a very nice stay in Bokkoms. Just don't think it's for guests who want to take a long vacation. For a weekend or sleepover it is perfect. Kinda misses a table around which one can hang out in the house and would like to have an outside light by braai facilities. Loved the fireplaces in the rooms. Had a great stay.
My only problem with the accommodation is that it is not private. The advertisement gives the impression that it is separate accommodation. It feels awkward to enter and exit through the owner's front door and there is no door or separation between the main house and the accommodation apart from open stairs. Otherwise, everything is very neat and well looked after, and the owners are very pleasant and our small dogs are also allowed.

The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the tranquility and felt very safe in the area. The accommodation met all the requirements and was very clean, beautiful and tidy. Will book there again anytime.
A very peaceful environment to relax in. The apartment was wonderfully cool despite the 38 degrees outside. Everything was neat and well maintained. Kitchen utensils provided in everything. TV in every room was a bonus.
The apartment has stairs at the entrance which is not very age friendly. We were all over 60 and we found it difficult to walk up and down - especially with the baggage. Furthermore it was clean and very nice.
Very nice but the light at the braai area did not feel very private, no door for privacy.
Good accommodation, will not book here again because we don't want to stay under the same roof as the guesthouse owners. No privacy during holiday.

Had a nice barbecue the first night at the private braai area and had a great time at the Paternoster Hotel and Panty Bar the second night. Would go back anytime.

Excellent value, spacious, stunning and well equipped. Stunning art and excellent reading material. Location in a quiet part of Paternoster. Only downside for older people are the steps to the apartment (luckily there are railings) and steps to the rooms without railings.

The rooms are convenient, very neat and well laid out with nice bathrooms. If you want to be private however, this accommodation is not to be recommended seeing as how you use the same front door as the owners. Your own conversations as well as those of the owner are not private either seeing as how you can hear each other because you are in the same house.
Bokkoms Guest Flat is ideal accommodation from which to explore the West Coast. It is well equipped, with a lovely patio with a partial sea view. It is very close to the beach. This apartment has a unique character, and the beautiful artwork of the Roons is a bonus.

You can't sleep more than 4 people anywhere else at this price. The place is clean and tidy. But be warned: the place is part of the owner's house (bottom floor) and there isn't a nice separate entrance. If you are not a very social person, you may feel as if the owner is watching you. You just feel more self-conscious. The braai area is very basic. The view of the sea is limited. It's near the beach. I would improve the braai area. I would also build a door near the front door of the house so that the house is divided in two.
It was wonderfully clean, private and tasteful, no negative comments to make - a definite recommended apartment!

It is a very neat, peaceful, safe place. I would go back again anytime. It is within walking distance of the beach and one feels safe to visit the neighborhood.
The Bokkoms Guest House was not only one of the neatest, but also wonderfully comfortable with everything you need. The four days we stayed there could have been longer. Immaculately clean and cuddly warm bedding and towels. The rooms are so comfortable with their own bathroom and TV in each one. And sitting outside by the canopy and barbecuing and looking at the sea was the highlight every evening. The decor and paintings are of a very high quality: modern yet not extravagant that you won't feel at home. The apartment gives you the feeling of tranquility, warmth and love. We arrived dead tired and Amanda was in contact with us the whole time, she welcomed us and made us feel at home and went the extra mile to make everyone happy and satisfied. So we enjoyed our time on Paternoster to the fullest. Hospitality, kindness, and just nice luxury pampering.

The Guest suite is perfect for 2 people: two large sunny bedrooms equipped with heaters and a lovely view out into a garden. A perfect retreat and getaway for a weekend. The inside living area is a bit small, but the bedrooms make up for it and the terrace is a haven in sunny weather. We will come again! Thanks to the Roons for a great stay!
