Outside each cottage, there is a lovely patio with an outdoor dining table and braai facilities. A few of these cottages also have an inviting wood-burning hot tub where guests can relax and fully admire the views. Guests can enjoy the freedom of spectacular walks, hikes, horse rides and picnics.

It was a much-needed getaway from city life. Met and exceeded my expectations.
Awesome walk to the waterfall!
What a gem of a destination that takes your breath away. More beautiful, calmer and more comfortable will be difficult to find. The cottage is beautiful with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Even reading books and board games. The beds and duvets are like a 5-star hotel. The bathrooms are beautiful and have great showers. The kitchen is particularly well equipped. The covered porch is spacious with comfortable sofas and a nice table to eat or relax at. The cottages are situated so that you have privacy and a 360 view of mountains, proteas in bloom with sugar snappers flying around and beautiful trees. The grill is large enough to grill and make pot or side dishes at the same time. It's also nice because you can move it around as you see fit. The Kol-kol is pretty much a treat. There is a beautiful river nearby and many walking, jogging or cycling routes. Bokrivier Cottages serve as a good base for exploring the beautiful villages in the area. Bokrivier Cottages' service and advance information is also excellent and kindly helped us and made us feel welcome. The cottages are pet friendly and the WiFi was excellent. Something my teenagers were very happy about. We can't wait to go back and I would highly recommend a visit here.
Bokrivier Cottages is the nicest place for a weekend away with friends! Incredibly beautiful, tidy, good service, friendly farm workers, and conveniently close to Greyton. We stayed in Barton, which has the most beautiful veranda with a beautiful view of the mountains! Cottage is nicely furnished, and the hot tub is an absolute treat.
