Very nice stay, you think of everything to make a guy's stay as comfortable as possible. The braai was ready every day with wood, blitz and matches. Now call me crazy but a very noticeable thing for me was how soft your water is, I don't know how to describe it, you have to feel it to understand it.
We had a nice stay. Clean and tidy, and well appointed. When I asked for a 'plunger', we got one straight away. Fridge could be bigger.
Kitchen wash-up area is a bit small for making meals. Good enough for takeouts.

It is clean, tidy and very safe. It depends on where you want to be in the Cape, otherwise it might be out of your way. But for the convenience and safety and everything that goes with it, I would much rather drive an extra km or 2, but I will definitely stay there again. It is well located between Stellenbosch and Franschoek. Stayed there 5 nights. Friendly welcome, neat and fresh unit and everything you need. It is wonderful to sit on the porch after a day's driving and appreciate the beautiful view of the mountains. Walking between the orchards and looking at the horses. Bona Vista had everything we needed for our stay. It was a little out of town so was very quiet. We felt very safe and the views are stunning. If arriving at night, be careful of the spotted thick knee parents and chick that frequents the entrance road, an extra treat.
We were there for a wedding and found everything we needed. The bathroom and kitchen are a bit small but we didn't lack anything. We slept very well. The rooms were kept very neat and clean. Staff very friendly. We felt safe.

The braai facilities were set up for us and we could have a good time. During load shedding, Risa sent me the schedule so we could do our planning around it and the generator was also switched on for a time for our convenience.

The accommodation is so well located and is incredibly neat and well planned. The rooms are nice and cool and the bed sleeps like a dream. We were in an accident with our rental car and Risa, the owner, went out of her way to still make sure we made it to a wedding and even offered to pick us up afterwards. The place is also very well secured with an alarm in the room, peepholes in the garden, as well as a camera system that monitors movement 24 hours a day. We will not simply stay somewhere else again when we visit the Boland. Thank you Bona Vista for a wonderful experience.

Bona Vista is ideally located for accommodation as a center to visit and explore interesting places every day such as the Language Monument, Paarl as a whole, the Huguenot Museum and Monument, Franschhoek as a whole and Stellenbosch. Babylonstoren is a stone's throw from Bona Vista and an absolute must visit.

We had to go to the Woordfees for business and we didn't want the buzz of Stellenbosch at night. So we booked a spot at Bona Vista. Even better than we expected - everything was tasteful and Risa and her team made us feel at home from the start. Very tidy and roomiest bed ever.
We were received very kindly and helped with our luggage. The unit was very clean, tidy and had good air conditioning. There is a very nice view looking out over the mountains while you grill a little meat on the lawn.
They were very helpful and the service was top-notch! Definitely one of the tidiest places I have ever stayed at! Such a beautiful area among the horses and nature! Just with they offered breakfast, but despite that it was definitely good value for money, no doubt about that!

We had such a good time. The peaceful farm atmosphere was perfect. It is very close to the famous Spice Route and Fairview and the N1. The room was neat, really appreciated the large shower. The wardrobe is a little small for a long visit, but for 2 days it was perfect. The workers were so considerate and helpful. We even grilled some meat - thanks to their facilities with wood and lighter. We took beautiful pictures of the horses. We can confidently recommend it.

I was very kindly received by Risa and welcomed with the most delicious bowl of syrup-sweet peaches, fresh from their own trees on the farm. The rooms are lovely spacious and beautifully clean, with all the necessary kitchenware. The hanging closet for 2 people may be a bit small, but we managed. I certainly recommend Bona Vista as the ideal, affordable self-catering accommodation for people who want to visit the surrounding Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek area. It's VERY centrally located. Thank you very much.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the friendly Risa and staff members. The room is incredibly neat, we felt like royalty. Incredible atmosphere and the scenery is breathtaking! We are already planning our second visit!
We would recommend this place for couples or family who would like to relax in a fresh farm setting. Bona Vista is situated in a area with lovely surrounding and it is very peaceful.
