There are 4 units which can each accommodate 2 adults. The units are built on stilts and are relatively private. Each unit contains a double bed, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet and washbasin. Bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and contains 2-plate stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. There are 2 litres of reverse osmosis water provided to these units per day, but guests are encouraged to bring additional drinking water.
Each unit has a braai area, guests can purchase bundles of wood from the reception desk. Being elevated these rustic units give one the advantage of viewing the birds and odd game passing through from the verandah.
Guests are welcome to make use of the restaurant and facilities at the main reception area, roughly 800 m away, via a pathway. Guests are able to bring their own containers which may be refilled with reverse osmosis water at the bar, at no charge. Please do not drink water from the tap.

The reserve is any birdwatcher's and nature lover's dream. In addition, every member of staff we have encountered is genuinely friendly and helpful.
I think it's common, a bit out of the way.
